Why I would be a good Steem Country Representative for Venezuela? | ¿Por qué sería yo un buen representante para Venezuela? | By @Psicoparedes🧠 [ESP//ENG]

Hola a todos los de la creciente y superpotenciada comunidad de Steemit. Espero que todos se encuentren bien. Esta publicación la he querido realizar con el objetivo de postularme para ser uno de los próximos representantes de Venezuela. A continuación, les estaré dando más detalles al respecto y del porqué yo pienso que sería un buen postulante para ello.

Primero que todo, quiero presentarme para los que todavía no me conocen. Mi nombre es Alejandro, Alejandro Paredes. Mi alias en Steemit es @psicoparedes. Yo actualmente tengo 23 años, y soy recién graduado de la carrera de ingeniería en petróleo. Soy de Venezuela, de la ciudad de Maracaibo, en el estado Zulia. Hablo español e inglés, y tengo un nivel aceptable de portugués. Me gustan mucho los idiomas y por eso los estudio, ya que me parecen muy interesantes.

Los tres idiomas anteriores mencionados no son los únicos que he estudiado, ya que también he estudiado un poco de francés, y de esperanto también. Me gradué de una academia de inglés muy reconocida en mi país llamada CEVAZ.

Me gusta mucho el escribir, la redacción de historias, el contenido audiovisual, y la creación de contenido de calidad. Siempre me ha llamado la atención la idea de ser escritor, Blogger, y de poder hacer lo que me gusta y que eso me motive a alcanzar cosas mejores.

Mi experiencia personal en Steemit ha sido de altos y bajos, pero en general la experiencia ha sido de lo más satisfactoria. Yo me uní a la plataforma en diciembre del 2017. Para entonces, la plataforma funcionaba de manera bastante diferente a como lo hace actualmente. En ese tiempo, yo aprendí a manejarme dentro de la plataforma, aprendí cómo usar el markdown, para el maquetado de mis publicaciones, e hice mis primeros diseños para la comunidad y para darle un toque personalizado a mi blog.

Para ese entonces, en el 2017, existía un grupo llamado Cervantes. Seguramente muchos lo recordarán, los integrantes antiguos de la plataforma. Cervantes fue el grupo de habla hispana más grande de Steemit, del cual yo también fui parte. Estuve en la plataforma a lo largo del 2018, pero por cuestiones personales y también por cuestiones de labores universitarias, tuve que dejar a un lado la plataforma para enfocarme mejor en mis estudios universitarios, pero siempre me quedó esa espinita, la cual me decía que quería volver a la plataforma porque quería seguir creando contenido, ya que es algo que a mí me entretiene muchísimo y me gusta mucho la edición.

Para entonces, a lo largo del 2018, algunos compañeros que conocían la plataforma y yo, conformamos una cuenta curadora y una comunidad a la cual llamamos Los Mosqueteros. Era una comunidad bastante interesante en la cual hacíamos todo tipo de dinámicas y solíamos hacer reuniones en las cuales cada vez que Cervantes nos convocaba para ir a una reunión, el grupo de los mosqueteros era generalmente el más numeroso.

Yo fui uno de los fundadores de la comunidad, junto con otros de mis compañeros, y fui el moderador de esta, tanto en la plataforma de Steemit como en la plataforma de Discord, en la cual teníamos también diferentes espacios en donde hacíamos diferentes tipos de actividades. También hacíamos unas dinámicas de charlas a través de podcasts en donde yo tenía un espacio dedicado para enseñarle inglés a la comunidad de Steemit y a los miembros de la comunidad de los Mosqueteros. También teníamos otros tipos de podcast en las cuales hablábamos de diferentes tipos de tópicos, como criptomonedas, como la vida cotidiana, charlas motivacionales, consejos, y salas de lectura.

Nos la pasamos bastante bien, y fue un proyecto interesante que actualmente ya quedó en el olvido, ya que muchos de nosotros dejamos la plataforma para encargarnos de otros tipos de asuntos. Yo, por mi parte, creo que soy el único de dicha comunidad, el cual este nuevo año 2021 ha regresado con fuerza a la plataforma para darle una segunda oportunidad, ya que como dije al principio, me he graduado recientemente de la carrera de ingeniería en petróleo, así que ya tengo bastante tiempo libre el cual dedicarle también a las otras cosas que a mí me gustan, como por ejemplo ser escritor y Blogger en esta plataforma. Tengo pensado ser un full time Steemian ahora.

Cuando regresé a la plataforma, me di cuenta de que habían cambiado muchas cosas, y se habían creado diferentes tipos de comunidades, de las cuales yo también quería ser parte, tanto para publicar como para también ayudar a los nuevos ingresados a la plataforma que estaban como yo en ese momento del 2017, cuando al principio yo no entendía nada, y hubo gente que me apoyó y me enseñó a continuar de la mejor manera.

Actualmente, soy perteneciente y miembro de la comunidad de Steem Venezuela, la comunidad de Venezuela más grande dentro de la plataforma de Steemit en estos momentos. He estado compartiendo mis anécdotas personales y charlas de motivación, además de consejos útiles sobre cómo sentirse exitoso al ser escritor o hacer lo que te gusta, como una forma de motivar a las personas de la comunidad a seguir y perseguir sus sueños. También, por supuesto, es sido partícipe de la dinámica del juego de diario, en dónde comparto mis quehaceres y mis actividades del día a día.

Por otro lado, también convivo de cerca con la comunidad de Sri Lanka, la cual recientemente alcanzó el logro y el hito de ser la primera comunidad en llegar a los 100,000 SP en su cuenta curadora. Yo convivo mucho con dicha comunidad en su grupo oficial de Discord en donde compartimos ratos agradables y hablamos de cosas diversas. Ellos también me han apoyado mucho a mí, lo cual se los agradezco también bastante.

Además, también participó en la comunidad del señor @fjjrg, la cual se llama Scouts. Aquí hacemos diferentes dinámicas, concursos, y actividades relacionadas a Venezuela, en donde todos los venezolanos divididos por diferentes estados participamos y nos motivamos activamente a crear un espacio mejor, en donde todos nos podemos ayudar mutuamente. En estos momentos estamos dentro de actividades relacionadas a desafíos por regiones.

Asimismo, he estado pendiente de los nuevos usuarios en las comunidades de Newcomers y Steemit Nursery, donde le doy la bienvenida a los nuevos usuarios, y les recomiendo una serie de comunidades que tal vez sean útiles para ellos, dándoles ese primer empuje a conocer y diversificar su espacio. También he hecho algunas publicaciones interesantes sobre recomendaciones de herramientas a la comunidad de los Newcomers.

También, he sido partícipe de actividades y dinámicas realizadas por los administradores de la comunidad CCC, cuyos concursos nos traen una oportunidad para describir un día en especial o las letras de la comunidad, para ver más allá de qué es lo que significan las letras de su nombre. Aquí he podido convivir con los administradores, además de darle un empuje emocional y de apoyo a los otros participantes de las dinámicas, brindándoles un poco de visibilidad, ya que esta comunidad se basa en apoyarnos los unos a los otros y hacernos sentir que todos contamos con una ayuda, por poca que sea.

Actualmente, estoy desarrollando y reactivando una comunidad, en la cual tengo el rol de moderador ahora. La comunidad se llama Steeming Community, cuya administradora y cabecilla de la comunidad es @cryptokannon. A ella le agradezco mucho por darme la oportunidad de ser parte de su comunidad y ayudarla a forjar las bases para hacerla crecer y mantenerla fuerte.

Aquí desempeñamos varias actividades, más allá de la moderación, como por ejemplo etiquetar a los nuevos usuarios, guiarlos a través de las diferentes actividades, resolvemos sus dudas e inquietudes, y promover concursos y mini concursos dentro de la comunidad. Actualmente tenemos un mini concurso del cual estoy a cargo, el cual se llama escenarios hipotéticos, en donde regalamos Steem líquido a los ganadores.

También, claro está, soy moderador de dicha comunidad en nuestro grupo oficial de Discord. Aquí también me desempeño como guía para los nuevos usuarios, enseñándoles el uso de la plataforma y los términos de la comunidad. Resuelvo sus dudas, y creo un ambiente amigable para que todos puedan compartir. Yo soy uno de los moderadores que ayuda a la compañera @cryptokannon a elegir las mejores publicaciones de la comunidad para ser respaldadas por el equipo de Booming de manera semanal.

He tratado de demostrar que soy lo suficientemente ágil, talentoso y que me puedo desempeñar bastante bien en las diferentes tareas que requiere la comunidad. Además, he sido encargado para liderar el departamento de anti plagios y anti posteo doble (por ejemplo, en HIVE) en la plataforma dentro de la comunidad de Steeming, el cual soy respaldado por mis otros compañeros moderadores.

Actualmente, al escribir este post, tengo de poder efectivo 627.06 SP (629.47 propios + 102.69 delegados hacia mí por @kryptodenno - 105.10 SP los cuales yo delegué), y estoy próximo a alcanzar los 1000 SP en unas semanas. Me gustaría que el equipo de Steemit @steemitblog me tomara en consideración, ya que soy un antiguo usuario de la plataforma, y conozco cuál es su funcionamiento y el rol que uno debe desempeñar si quieres ser alguien de soporte y alguien que guía a los recién llegados.

A fin de esto, ¿por qué pienso yo que sería un buen representante de Venezuela?, ¿o por qué me quiero postular para ser representante de Venezuela? Esa es la gran pregunta.

Yo he visto la gran labor que desempeñan los compañeros representantes de Venezuela elegidos actualmente, @edlili24, @albenis, @adeljose, @tocho2, @anasuleidy, @inspiracion, y @wilmer1988, la cual es una incesable labor por ayudar a los nuevos usuarios de la plataforma, y por hacer crecer a la comunidad de Venezuela. Actualmente, la comunidad de Venezuela crece a pasos agigantados, y pienso que sería ideal que se reclutaran a nuevos miembros para liderar a la comunidad y servir de soporte para las diferentes actividades, y proyectos de curación.

Además, las personas actualmente representantes de Venezuela son personas que yo pienso que han tenido una vida experimentada, y son personas mayores que representan a la fuerza y a la experiencia, pero realmente no hay una figura o un icono juvenil que represente a Venezuela. Yo quisiera tener la oportunidad, de que me eligieran representante de Venezuela, para poder representar a la juventud del país.

Quiero ser ese icono de juventud y de creciente optimismo, el cual vela por un cambio para convertir a Venezuela y a la comunidad en algo mejor. Quiero ser ese representante de Venezuela que pueda ser la cara joven de la comunidad, una cara valiente, de grandes ideas, una cara creativa, una cara que dé más de sí misma, una cara familiar y que produzca esa sensación de energía y motivación para todos los jóvenes del país.

En términos simples, quiero postularme para ser representante de Venezuela, ya que quiero ser uno de los representantes más jóvenes del equipo, para ser el símbolo del renacimiento, y ser un símbolo de un mejor futuro, ya que nosotros los jóvenes somos el futuro del país. Eso es lo que yo quiero representar para Venezuela y para la plataforma, una visión de un futuro exitoso, y mejor del que actualmente tenemos.

Un futuro en el cual podamos fortalecer la base que actualmente los encargados de representar al país están sosteniendo. Quiero poder sembrar una huella, y poder ayudar a los actuales representantes en sus labores del día, curación, dinámicas, para yo poder sentirme parte del gran trabajo que la comunidad ha estado realizando hasta ahora.

ACTUALIZACIÓN: Quiero hacer una mención especial al hecho de que recientemente me invitaron a formar parte del equipo de curadores de @steem-seven, un projecto de curación destinado a ayudar a aquellos autores sin muchas recompensas y con poco reconocimiento. Es un proyecto que va naciendo y que espero que crezca mucho en el futuro. Esta es otra oportunidad que se me ha dado para apoyar a la comunidad. Espero poder seguir ayudando a los autores, desempeñándome en las diferentes áreas, de ser elegido como uno de los próximos representante de Venezuela. También estoy próximo a participar en el SPUD4STEEM del mes de mayo.

Hello everyone from the growing and superpowered Steemit community. I hope everyone is all right. I wanted to make this publication with the aim of applying to be one of the next representatives of Venezuela. Next, I will be giving you more details about it and why I think I would be a good postulant for it.

First of all, I want to introduce myself to those who do not know me yet. My name is Alejandro, Alejandro Paredes. My alias in Steemit is @psicoparedes. I am currently 23 years old, and I am a recent graduate of the oil engineering career. I am from Venezuela, from the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state. I speak Spanish and English, and I have an acceptable level of Portuguese. I really like languages and that is why I study them, as I find them remarkably interesting.

The three previous languages mentioned are not the only ones I have studied, as I have also studied a little French, and Esperanto as well. I graduated from an outstanding English academy in my country called CEVAZ.

I really like writing, writing stories, audiovisual content, and creating quality content. I have always liked the idea of being a writer, a Blogger, and being able to do what I like and that motivates me to achieve better things.

My personal experience at Steemit has been of highs and lows, but overall the experience has been most satisfying. I joined the platform in December 2017. By then, the platform worked quite differently than it does today. At that time, I learned to handle myself within the platform, learned how to use markdown, for the layout of my posts, and I made my first designs for the community and to give a personalized touch to my blog.

By then, in 2017, there was a group called Cervantes. Surely many will remember, the old members of the platform. Cervantes was Steemit's largest Spanish-speaking group, of which I was also a part. I was on the platform throughout 2018, but for personal reasons and also for university work, I had to set aside the platform to focus better on my university studies, but I always had that little spin, which told me that I wanted to go back to the platform because I wanted to continue creating content, since it is something that entertains me a lot and I really like editing.

By then, throughout 2018, some colleagues who knew the platform and I formed a curator account and a community we called The Musketeers. It was a rather interesting community in which we made all kinds of dynamics and used to hold meetings in which every time Cervantes summoned us to go to a meeting, the group of musketeers was usually the most numerous.

I was one of the founders of the community, along with other of my colleagues, and I was the moderator of it, both on the Steemit platform and on the Discord platform, in which we also had different spaces where we did different types of activities. We also made some chat dynamics through podcasts where I had a dedicated space to teach English to the Steemit community and members of the Musketeers community. We also had other types of podcasts in which we talked about different types of topics, such as cryptocurrencies, such as everyday life, motivational talks, tips, and reading rooms.

We had a fairly good time, and it was an interesting project that was now forgotten, as many of us left the platform to take care of other types of matters. I, for my part, believe that I am the only one in that community, who this new year 2021 has returned strongly to the platform to give it a second chance, because as I said at the beginning, I recently graduated from the oil engineering career, so I already have enough free time to dedicate also to the other things that I like , such as being a writer and blogger on this platform. I plan to be a full time Steemian now.

When I returned to the platform, I realized that many things had changed, and different types of communities had been created, of which I too wanted to be a part, both to publish and to also help new enters the platform who were like me at that time of 2017, when at first I did not understand anything, and there were people who supported me and taught me to continue in the best way.

Currently, I am a member of the community of Steem Venezuela, the largest community in Venezuela within the Steemit platform at the moment. I have been sharing my personal anecdotes and motivational talks, plus helpful tips on how to feel successful being a writer or doing what you like, as a way to motivate people in the community to follow and pursue their dreams. Also, of course, it is part of the dynamics of the daily game, where I share my chores and my day-to-day activities.

On the other hand, I also live closely with the Sri Lanka community, which recently reached the achievement and milestone of being the first community to reach 100,000 SP in its curator account. I live very much with that community in their official Discord group where we share pleasant times and talk about different things. They have also been incredibly supportive of me, which I thank them very much as well.

In addition, he also participated in Mr. @fjjrg's community, which is called Scouts. Here we do different dynamics, contests, and activities related to Venezuela, where all Venezuelans divided by different states participate and actively motivate ourselves to create a better space, where we can all help each other. We are currently in activities related to challenges by region.

I have also been keeping an eye on new users in the communities of Newcomers and Steemit Nursery, where I welcome new users, and recommend a number of communities that may be useful to them, giving them that first push to know and diversify their space. I have also done some interesting posts on tool recommendations to the Newcomers community.

Also, I have been a participant in activities and dynamics carried out by the administrators of the CCC community, whose contests bring us an opportunity to describe a particular day or the letters of the community, to see beyond what the letters of their name mean. Here I have been able to live with the administrators, in addition to giving an emotional and supportive push to the other participants of the dynamics, giving them a little visibility, since this community is based on supporting each other and making us feel that we all have some help, however little.

Currently, I am developing and reviving a community, in which I have the role of moderator now. The community is called the Steeming Community, and whose community manager and ringleader is @cryptokannon. I thank her very much for giving me the opportunity to be part of her community and help her forge the foundations to make her grow and keep her strong.

Here we carry out various activities, beyond moderation, such as tagging new users, guiding them through different activities, sorry for their doubts and concerns, and promoting contests and mini contests within the community. We currently have a mini contest that I am in charge of, which is called hypothetical scenarios, where we give liquid Steem to the winners.

Also, of course, I am moderator of that community in our official Discord group. Here I also serve as a guide for new users, teaching them the use of the platform and community terms. I solve your doubts, and create a friendly environment for everyone to share. I am one of the moderators who helps the @cryptokannon choose the best posts in the community to be backed up by the Booming team on a weekly basis.

I have tried to prove that I am agile, talented enough and that I can perform quite well in the different tasks required by the community. In addition, I have been commissioned to lead the anti-plagiarism and anti-double post department (e.g. in HIVE) on the platform within the Steeming community, which I am backed by my other fellow moderators.

Currently, when writing this post, I have effective power 627.06 SP (629.47 own + 102.69 delegates to me by @kryptodenno - 105.10 SP which I delegated), and I am close to reaching 1000 SP in a few weeks. having come to this point, why do I think I would be a good representative of Venezuela, or why do I want to be one of the new representatives of Venezuela? That is the big question.

I have seen the great work of the fellow representatives of Venezuela currently elected, @edlili24, @albenis, @adeljose, @tocho2, @anasuleidy, @inspiracion, and @wilmer1988, which is an incessant task to help new users of the platform, and to grow the community of Venezuela. Today, the Venezuelan community is growing in leaps and bounds, and I think it would be ideal for new members to be recruited to lead the community and support different activities, and healing projects.

In addition, the people currently representatives of Venezuela are people that I think have had an experienced life, and they are adult people who represent strength and experience, but there is really no figure or youth icon representing Venezuela. I would like to have the opportunity, to be elected representative of Venezuela, in order to represent the youth of the country.

I want to be that icon of youth and growing optimism, which ensures change to make Venezuela and the community better. I want to be that representative of Venezuela who can be the young face of the community, a courageous face, of great ideas, a creative face, a face that gives more of itself, a familiar face and that produces that feeling of energy and motivation for all the young people of the country.

In simple terms, I want to apply to be a representative of Venezuela, as I want to be one of the youngest representatives of the team, to be the symbol of the rebirth, and to be a symbol of a better future, since we, the young people, are the future of the country. That is what I want to represent for Venezuela and for the platform, a vision of a successful and better future than we currently have.

A future in which we can strengthen the pillars that those currently responsible for representing the country are sustaining. I want to be able to sow a footprint, and be able to help the current representatives in their work of the day, healing, dynamics, for me to be able to feel some of the great work that the community has been doing so far.

UPDATE: I want to make a special mention of the fact that I was recently invited to be part of the team of curators from @steem-seven, a curation project aimed at helping those authors without much rewards and with little recognition. It is a project that is being born and that I hope will grow a lot in the future. This is another opportunity that I have been given to support the community. I hope to continue helping the authors, working in different areas, if I am chosen as one of the next representative of Venezuela. I am also about to participate in the SPUD4STEEM of the month of May.
