Short Tale Ch 4

I know y'all been waiting for the next chapter. Been a little busy. But here you go enjoy.

                                   Chapter 4

Getting back to your feet. You investigate your surroundings. Sparks flying everywhere from the ceiling. Making your way to the engine room noticing wiring and installation looking as if it was torn by an animal.

Over the coms you hear, "This ship will self-destruct in T minus 10 minutes."

Moving towards the shut off controls, you notice movement in the shadows. Out of the corner of your eye something lunges towards you snarling. Jumping back you catch what seems like hands made of overly extended knives. Tossing the beast to the side you attempt to get to the controls again.

Extending it's fingers, it slashes across the back of your thigh. Causing an extruciating burning deep to the bone. You wince from the pain.

Suddenly your mind fogs over and you hear an inner voice.

    May I take over now? 

What the hell. Now what.

I'm hearing shit at time like this.

"The ship will self destruct in T minus 5 minutes"

FUCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

I am x32. May I take over now? The voice ask again. Look we don't have a lot of time short and sweet. I'm ADO - Automated Defense Organism or x32. If you do not grant me permission you will die.

As if spurred by desperation you agree. Instantly a light comes on in your head. And for the first time you feel in control.

What's happening to me…
