First-Time Visitor

I was very excited to see this rose-breasted grosbeak at my feeder the other day.

We have had a lot of birds in the area of late, including 3 different woodpeckers, so I keep my camera by the window. We were hoping to see a nuthatch when this fellow showed up after I grabbed my camera too late to photograph a wren.

I find that something as simple as seeing a new bird, an unusual sky, a flower in bloom, things I call "found beauty" really lift my spirits and provide a jolt of energy to keep me moving forward. I hope this does the same for you.
