Defining and explaining cyber bullying

Cyber bullying is an act where a person behind the curtain of their electronic device allegedly used to harass, threaten, or humiliate another person. It is said to be on the rise and more prevalent than ever before. I can't find any root cause of this humiliating attitude toward the fellow beings. Not considering someone else's emotions and feelings and being a ruthless person is the new trend. In our country we have seen so many people who has lost their lives to the cyber bullying but even after this happening nothing stopped or changed.

My experiences with cyber bullying

Never in my life i have been a victim of cyber bullying nor i have taken part in any such activity, i feel like if i want to be respected then this thing comes with me respecting other person's self beliefs and their moral values. There are many a times when i got full chance of doing harm to so many people who had done bad things to me or my close, i chose not to do that. But don't get me wrong, there have been few cases where i got hurt mentally and physically because of some misunderstanding or people not understanding me, but those were rare incidents .

Qandeel baloch a victim of cyber-bullying

Okay so this one is an interesting yet dooming story of a girl named Qandeel baloch. She was a Pakistani social media sensation in her times, in Pakistan there are very strict rules and regulations about the type of attire women chose to wear in the social gatherings. Qandeel Baloch was a rebel. She chose not to follow those norms and instead strutted around in clothes that showed off her curves. Pakistani conservatives and the religious zealots took umbrage to this and bullied her online mercilessly, calling her every name under the sun, posting pictures of her scantily clad, with the hashtag #objectificationofwomen.

Qandeel Baloch- Breaking all the stereotypes

As i said Pakistanis are sometimes little too serious about the dresses of their women, Qandeel baloch's brother got so heavily influenced by the words of the strangers online that he killed his sister. That was a shocking incident to hear. To this day, the trolls who harassed Qandeel baloch still taunt her online. It's a sobering reminder that even in the digital age, words and images can have terrible consequences.

Cyber bullying and Steemit

Steemit is such a great place to be around, i have never seen any incidents of cyber bullying here, the teams of the steemit are so active that even when someone tries to spam other people's post the relevant authority would come and downvote that comment and it gets hidden. This platform is safe for men, women and children alike. Everyone could be theirself no matter what.

Advice to my fellows about bullying

There are many a lessons we can get from scenarios of cyber bullying and above everything and anything else i think one thing that we should keep in mind is that we cannot expect people to respect us when we ourself don't respect their values, morals and the privacy of their moments. We should also not forget that every human being is unique and deserves to be treated as such. So, treat people with respect and kindness, this will go a long way in making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Lastly, be proactive and engage with others on the platform instead of hiding away from them, this will help to build positive relationships that can last a lifetime.

Cyber bullying is an act that come with depression and mental instability to a victim who fine his or her self in a particular situation
but according to the story of Quedeel baloch am not happy with what they did to her because life is all about choices so they had to allow her make her choice because after everything is her life.

Pakistani conservatives and the religious zealots took umbrage to this and bullied her online mercilessly,

I also want to base on these point because what those religious zealot did was not good they were not supposed to post her picture online for any sabotagement and for me that is the worst act The committed
Remember we are talking about a situation where you are the want that keep your personal information online and they are being taken advantage over it
But never the less I also feel bad they way her brother end up killing her which was not good at all..
Lime we righly said steemit is the best social media platform where most of our information are being keep and I believe with this platform , we are all secure because it deal with measure and everything about it is secure

This is nice entry post brother. Where we got to read about another good words about cyber bullying, and definition.

Maybe what happened to Qandeel Baloch was not fair, here if her brother was so possessive about that, he should have acted before. Why this happened, and why Qandeel went through this way. Her family had to stop her out before.

Obviously it is the fault of us, our families. We think about every single thing and facility of world to give to our family. But as a Muslim we don't teach them Islam, and it's basics.
Why not steemit is minimum cyber bullying free, all real people are here supporting and respecting each other.
I I vite you to visit my post too.

I feel bad reading the story about Quaadel Baloch. This is a very practical act of bully. I guess the environment where she found here self contributed to this.

I am of the opinion that every human has right to life and can also make choices provided that it doesn't affect others...

This is really a sad one for that young lady. I really feel for her.
Thanks for sharing friend. I wish you the very best.

Greetings my friend

One interesting thing about your post is that you've not been a victim of cyber bullying..
But..also the story of the girl is so touching.being bullied by a whole system is a call for concerned. Sorry for her and I hope she's learn her lesson and now dress like other Pakistan women.

I don't think that death makes someone learn a lesson... and dressing is a person's private matter no one should guide anyone

Oh no it is so sad to here that her brother gave room to be manipulated to the point of killing his own sister that is so bad. This was caused by cyber bullying a and now this young woman with a bright future just lost her life. So painful to hear.

Exactly. Listening that much to other people and not being logical do cause such problems.

Her brother should have to be logical and not emotional while thinking about things.
