Campaign Post For Office Of Moderator (MOD) In The STEEM CAMERON COMMUNITY || by @b-naj

Good day to you all esteemed members and distinct Administration of STEEM CAMEROON. Honestly, i didn't know that what i was doing could pay off in a special way, i have been honored to add this campaign exercise to my tally of achievements. Being a nominee for office of Moderator in the STEEM CAMEROON COMMUNITY, is a great deal for me. I'd very much like to take this time to say thank you for making me feel special via this brief but great thing you all, collectively, made possible.

A Little Insight About Myself.

Permit me drop a links to my Achievement 1 post , and my Compilation post in the Newcomers' Community, so as to greatly bring talks about my self to a minimal.
To begin with, I am Godfearing; and it's on this foundation that I intend to speak on, without derailing from my main objective to better the lives of others. If you read my Achievement 1 post, you'd see that I am multi talented. Most people (I inclusive) label me to be an Ideator. I am 25 years old, but I always have an answer to every question, especially when it boils down to common sense. I must say that I am quite competitive ever since I could successfully create a constructive sentence, at same time, I am a very reasonable person.
I first joined this platform sometime in 2019 (@bels), but gave up because I had no one to enlighten me on what to do. My account was given away, and only until April 2021 that I thought it wise to give it a try once more by signing up again. I didn't create any post up until September when I got help from the Administrative body, as well as some steemians. I am what I am today on steemit, because of good people in here. As such, I genuinely hope to keep on giving back, whether as a MOD, or a member, because I was doing my all since the date of my birthday (30th-09) last year when I started hosting orientation sessions biweekly. I started orientation sessions because i know the stress I went through on my own, and I couldn't fold my arms while people around me couldn't pay their bills due to unemployment.

I can proudly say that i achieved all i prayed for, and even more.

I was inactive throughout the month of January after having lost my best friend on new year, on his way home from the crossover service. He was the best version of me when it came to humanitarian works, education, ideas, etc. I lost someone who made me so much better😥.
Least I forget, I am an Environmentalist, added to many other skills.

Why I Would Be Suited For The Role Of MOD In STEEM CAMEROON.

• Everything i do, i do with the fear of God in mind, the rest comes with ease.

• It is worth acknowledging one of the most important aspect that governs a perfect blockchain such as steemit. These aspects are Decentralization, Security, and Privacy, but i'll focus on Decentralization.
  It will be so awesome to get some level of decentralization amongst Administrative offices of the community, with respect to Regional breakdown. Having MODs in varying Regions within the country will greatly ease the response time (especially in person) and execution of activities, supervised directly by a representative of the STEEM CAMEROON Administrative body. This will also give a sense of belonging when newbies and members can see at least one of their leaders in person, and originating from their locality.

• Ever since i joined this prestigious community, i have worked relentlessly to build myself up, and gain acknowledgement. I did all these strongly within the first month of me being active (started posting on the 4-5th September 2021), and i did all these so that i would have proof when telling someone else about this wonderful platform, as i present my efforts alongside. This has gone a long way to give rise to reputable steemians today, as well as a good number of active steemians who emerged from the orientation sessions i orchestrated weekly and biweekly. I did my best to aid every single newbie under my wings, with delegated support especially for the pro active ones. I even did much more, which i don't deem fit to talk about because the best honor of a man, is that which comes from the mouth of others. These steemians have encouraged me to keep doing what i do. I created follow up groups for these steemians, and today, we are a growing family that i cherish a lot.
  I have helped quite a number of steemians with their worries, whenever they visit me privately on whatsapp, and i equally visit steemians whenever i see small mistakes being made, so that i chip in a little to help remedy the situation. Similarly, i gained so much help from steemians, especially in my trial month (September) on steemit.

• Before my short break in the month of January this year, i made sure to revise my delegation to our community on a weekly and/or biweekly bases. I intend making a revision on my delegation any time soon, and i have urged my steemit family to do same every chance they get.

• For experience, I'd say that i have gained quite a lot, but to be honest, i always like to think of myself as a student who never graduates because i am always open to learn something new that can add value to my ethics. Being more valuable and resourceful places any leader at a point wherein he/she can assist others with ease. For example, what took me 1-2 months to fully understand, can't take any of the stermians in my family more than a week tops when i am around. With the office of a MOD, i'll be able to relay these methods much better and faster to newbies.

• I am presently at Reputation 60, and 900+ SP within 6 months. I will be at 1000+ SP before today runs out, and will do well to revise my delegation as intended since last week (just waiting on pending payout).

• I am a #club5050 and #club75 member, and i intend joining club100 sometime in mid-March. So, it goes without saying that i am engaged in power ups on a regular. I have never engaged in a power down process of any kind. All these commitments are to make sure i practice what i preach, to show that with steemit, good things sprout from each sacrifice made.

• I eventually decided yo create post for promotional activities done back (as you can see here and here), but i came to a realization that, the post didn't matter to me compared to the help rendered in the process. So i stopped creating promotional posts for the orientations done, and most recently, i passed on the duty to some of the members in my steemit family.

• I am optimist, nature lover, and an Ideator. With all this put together, and managed just right, beautiful things can come from our community.

• I am not the type to take sides, nonetheless, i was brought up to know what is right and what isn't. I would always dialogue with all to see from their points of view. Truth be told, no one can please everyone, but i can do my best to find that neutral group as often as i can.

• I am online often than normal, and can always allocate the required time needed to carryout the tasks allocated to the office of a MOD. Also, i can attend to private matters, even counselling cause i'd like to think of myself as a counsellor, drawn from past experiences.

Drawing from all that i have said, it can be deduced that i genuinely care about those around me, be it as a MOD or not, i will continue what i started 5 months ago.

_{With all these, I am not trying to sound most humble or submissive, rather i wish to point out that the success of a leader depends greatly on the cooperative works done by his people, and vise versa.}

My Intentions For STEEM CAMEROON.

Below are the plans i already had for the STEEM CAMEROON COMMUNITY. It is worth noting that i'll do my best to bring to reality these plans, with or without the office of a MOD (of course with the approval from the Administrative body, because without order, nothing can move on smoothly), notwithstanding, the office of MOD will help bring these plans to action faster and more effectively.

• My trademark on this platform is undoubtedly the will to orientate newbies and mentor them to become reputable and mentors as well. I have done so for a hand full of users, and all members brought in by my me have exceeded my expectations. I am reputable today because they chose to follow rules and work hard. Without their will to push on, all my goals won't have been perfected and i would have probably relented my efforts (although i doubt).
  So, I'll continue my orientation classes from where i stopped (Group 12). It is occasionally held biweekly, and weekly on rare bases. If i am made MOD, i'll spearhead the weekly process of orientation and recruitments (especially in the southwest region, so as to bring in more members all over Cameroon).

• I plan to create promotional contests that will encourage the will for members to tell even their enemies about steemit. Truth be told, the start won't be easy, but with the help from fellow Administrative officers, and sponsorships from some members, there will always be rewards allocated for best works weekly.

• I see a futuristic STEEM CAMEROON COMMUNITY, with members coming in from varying parts of Cameroon. My goal here is to help achieve a decentralized community before this year 2022 runs out.

• I wish to see in the nearest future, varying posts categories (not The Diary Game most often). As such, i intend contributing via suggestions and support with the privileges that comes with the office of MOD.

• I intend to attend to the worries of members within the community, as often as possible, especially in relative to activities in our community.

• I intend encouraging mentorship by suggesting ideas that could be endorsed and executed to reward mentors if deemed fit and committed.

• I intend suggesting the enforcement of delegated SP to newbies, by their mentors (a mentor must not necessarily be the person who introduced you to steemit).

All my plans and visions for our community can be met quickly and efficiently, if i become MOD and work with the Administrative body; and of course with the support and positivity from you all.

Conclusion.

I can confidently promise that if we work hand in gloves to build our beloved community, we can achieve all these and more. A single tree can never be labeled as a forest; similarly, a flock without a good shepherd will always be at disarray.
I solemnly pray that I be graced with this office of MOD, as it will go a long way to facilitate all the plans that i initially put in place months back. Nonetheless, not emerging victorious doesn't mean i'll stop, besides i was already doing all what i intend to do, just at a much slower rate than i'd have hoped for😪.
