Hello to all steemit users and special greetings to the steemit team. It is a privilege for me as an aspirant to become a country representative for Cameroon.

After careful thought and support from the previous Country Representatives, I have decided to drop my application and only wish it is given due consideration.

Active on the platform for at least the past 3 months

I became a member of the steemit platform on 27th July 2020 and have always been active on the platform no matter what because of my passion for steemit.

This implies that I have been an active user for close to 2 years now. This date can be verified from my introductory post here.

The Steem Power I owned is over 5000, and I have delegated 3000 to the @steem-cameroon community and 100 to the @steemwomenclub community. I am a lover of power-up and this justifies why recently I constantly power up everything I have as Steem to Steem power.

I believe that this will enable me to grow faster in order to support other new users. My constant power-ups enabled me to achieve dolphin status and I will continue in this light till I achieve the highest status on the steemit platform.

The reputation of at least 60

I believed that reputation comes when a user is active and consistent with the platform, which attracts support for content created. Thereby increasing your reputation.

Therefore I have a reputation of 69.576 which confirmed my consistency and creation of quality content that attracts upvotes. This can be seen on the screenshot uploaded below👇 👇

Live permanently in the country they want to be a Country Rep for

I am a Cameroonian by birth and I do live in the North West Region permanently, except otherwise my job can displace me to another region of the country.

But I strongly believed that distance is not a barrier to performing my duties well. Moving to another region will still be an added advantage for me to introduce steemit to new users.

Be fluent in the main language of the country they want to be a Country Rep for

Cameroon is a multi-lingual country with over 250 ethnic groups with different mother tongues. However, we have as official languages English and French, and a minority community uses pidgin English to better understand when discussing.

Nonetheless, I have the privilege to understand and speak both the official languages and pidgin English fluently. I can say it categorically that most Cameroonian steemians are of English descendants. But the fact that I speak and understand the above-mentioned languages is an added advantage. This will permit me to communicate easily both online and offline on the steemit platform and increase the number of French speakers on the platform.

Have a CSI and voting pattern that clearly demonstrates that they are already supporting other Steemians in the country they want to be a Country Rep for.

One of the criteria we used in the @steem-cameroon community is to check the CSI score of steemians before curating and constantly reminded them of supporting others by commenting and upvoting via comments. This implies that as MOD of this community I needed to lead by example. Therefore, I always support fellow Steemians in my community (@steem-cameroon) by curating and commenting. This justifies my CSI score of 17.5 as seen on this screenshot 👇👇.

My role as plagiarism MOD in @steem-cameroon makes it possible for me to constantly review and upvote Cameroonian active steemit users' content. The screenshot below justifies this.

Myself and old country representative with other steemians mobilized and promote steemit in a fashion show program organized in Bamenda where I reside. I am someone who believes so much in collective efforts to create a huge impact. After this event, we succeeded to create about 10 accounts.

Country Reps must also not have recently powered down and they should actively support the #club system.

I have not recently powered down and do not have any plans to do that because I now have a stable income.

Since the introduction of club status on the steemit platform, I have always wanted to be at the top. The reason why I worked hard and power up all my earnings to become a #club100 member as seen on this screenshot 👇 👇

You should also say, in no more than 200 words, why you think you would make a good Country Representative.

I believed that from the above-mentioned criteria, I am fit to be a country representative. Notwithstanding, the following are reasons I think I can make a good country representative.

• I am a Humanitarian lover and I have been using this skill to carry out face-to-face interactions with people, especially youths about steemit. This enabled them to know about steemit and join the platform. Therefore, I have been promoting steemit and if allowed to represent my country, I will do more.
• Since I joined steemit, I have always supported projects launched by the steemit team ranging from the crypto academy season 1-6 which I was active, club status which I am now #club100, engagement challenges, and #burnsteem. If I am allowed to serve as a country representative for Cameroon, I will do more by constantly encouraging users to be part and parcel of initiatives as such.
• I create quality content on the steemit platform and focus on #steemexclusive content. If I am given the opportunity, I will use it to constantly remind users of the importance of #steemexclusive content.
• I have been mentoring, supporting and guiding both old and new steemians and if my application is considered, I will do more.

In sum, I believe in teamwork because a single person cannot create the same impact created by a team. Therefore, if my application is considered, with other successful applicants, we will form a great team and move steemit in Cameroon to a higher height.
