Steem greetings @everyone from motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I bring to you all this contest on “Body Shaming”. I hope we all find pleasure to participate in this contest and other contests on the platform.

Background to the Contest.

Nowadays, many people are not happy with their bodies because they have been victims of body shaming. This is an act of mockery, or criticizing someone's appearance, shape or the size of their bodies. They are constantly being stigmatised for reasons they never asked for.

Some victims of body shaming ended up dead because they found it difficult to accept the way their bodies are. They turn to look for different solutions to appease those mocking and stigmatising them.

The consequences of body shaming cannot be overemphasized. However, they are devastating and we all need to end this practice in society and promote a culture of living together as one no matter our different shapes, appearances, etc.

Some Guiding Questions.

These are guiding questions, therefore do not limit yourself to these questions. You can create the magic write-up by thinking out of the box (guiding questions)

• What do you know about body shaming?
• Have you ever been in a situation where you feel upset about your body?
• Do you think body shaming is harmful?
• What advice(s) will you give to both victims and perpetrators of body shaming?

• Users should ensure to upvote, resteem, and comment on this post.
• Images on your post should be your original images or copyright-free images. Ensure to add sources of the copyright-free images used.
• Any act of plagiarism will not be tolerated.
• The minimum number of words for your entry should be at least 300 words and a maximum of 1500 words.
• Include the tags #bodyshaming-c3, #steemexclusive, your country, and club status among the first 5 tags of your post.
• The link to your entry post should be included in your comment on this contest post.
• Post your content on the steem-cameroon community.

For this contest, 18 entries were recorded from participants from Nigeria, Cameroon, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

All users comply with the contest rules and equally attempted all questions with clarity. However, some users misinterpreted some of the guiding questions.
