Background to the Contest

Love, they say is blind indeed as many nowadays, get into toxic relationships and suffer till dead all in the name of love.

It is hard to determine if truly they are happy because there is a lot of faking and hiding the truth from friends, and family members. Most often the victims decided to stay quiet because even if they speak out, they might face further retaliation from their perpetrators.

The worst of it all is that people hardly noticed the signs of a toxic relationship or they do not know how to manage the situation at hand. They turn to seek advice from unprofessional friends who might help manage or worsen the situation.

Some individuals are aware of the signals of a toxic relationship but still decided to stay while hoping that their partners will change in the future.

The questions we should all be asking ourselves, especially those already in toxic relationships is that...“You will keep hoping that he or she will change till when??”

It is time for us to share our ideas and help those already in toxic relationships with some coping strategies.
