The diary game: My last Monday in 2024 (30/12/2024)
Happy new year, Steem members of Steem Cameroon, it's really nice to see the new year. God saw us through 2024 despite how rough the year was for some people. I want to share how I spent my last Monday for 2024. So stay tuned.
I woke up a little bit late since I'm still balling in my holidays. I decided to go out and see my friend and also achieve some things. I tidied up the house by sweeping and mopping. We are in the harmattan season and everywhere is always dusty, and if the house is not mopped, one can have a persistent dry cough due to the dust.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness. As a lady, I have to keep the whole house clean. So I swept and mopped all the rooms in the house.
After the cleaning, I had my bath, and then boiled some rice which I ate with stew that was already made days before. This is my favourite meal so I ate to my satisfaction before going out even tho my friend was hurrying me to come over.
What a scrumptious meal
After my breakfast, I went to see my friend and I spent 4 hours in her house. We gisted about a lot of things knowing that work was resuming soon and it would be difficult for us to see. By 2pm, I decided to started heading back home.
It was already afternoon, but I had some things to achieve before getting home. The first on my list was getting some colours for my steemit drawings. I got to the stationery store and asked for crayons, varieties was brought to me but I choosed to go for colour pencils instead. I wanted to get other things that will make my drawing on steemit easier but the price was more than my financial capacity. At the store, I spent a total of 1,200 naira, that is equivalent to the price of 3 steem.

My purchases
When I left the store, I decided to give my new slippers to show minder to work on it because I have plans of using it on Sunday. And after that, I checked the post office where vacancies are pasted to see of there is any job I would like but I was disappointed.

When I got home, I received good new that my aunt had brought some yams for us as a gift for the festive season. In this period when things are quite expensive, one can't take this for granted. It takes a good heart to give this much. We were all so happy.
Gifts from my aunt
It was already evening by the time I got home. Then I remembered I was supposed to do some drawing and post on steemit agro. I settled down to it immediately. It took me time to get what I wanted but with persistence, I was able to draw the tree as required in Steem agro.

My final outcome
After my drawing, I decided to go to church since we were having a three days program in church which will end in the new year. I was already 1 hour late but it's later to be late than to be totally absent. I immediately left for church.
On my way to church
The preaching was titled 'Standing on God's promises'. And the bible portion was taken from
2nd Corinthians 1:20. According to the minister,
God's promises to us is that His love will never end and He is a faithful God.
Exodus 3:13-17
Why stand on the promises of God?
• Jeremiah 1:12. God watches over His word to see them fulfilled
• God is faithful at all times. He honours His words more than His name.
• Psalm 138:2. Exodus 33:14. Hosea 13:24. His ever abiding presence.
• God's promises reveals God to us.
How do you stand on God's promises?
• Study the word of God
• Have faith in God's word
• Receive Him as your personal Lord.
We closed at 8:30pm and I went home, I took my dinner which was my rice and stew again, read a little before sleeping. So that was how my day went.
