What Does Birthday Mean?
When we talk of birthdays, our minds are move to the day we came to this world. In a simple definition:
A birthday is a yearly anniversary of your birth, which is usually the day you were born into this world.
As you grow up, we turn to put significance on our birthday, which is always a dat of creating memories and sharing with friends and family. There’s so much more to it, given the display of surprises, cutting of cakes, and sharing of gifts. They are three important birthdays in the process of transformation from child to adult or let me put it this way from birth to death.
- 25th birthday(Silver Jubilee)
- 50th birthday(Golden Jubilee)
- 100th birthday(Platinum Jubilee)
The time we spent on earth is important and worth celebrating giving we have been able to live for the past years. Again, we have the possibility to created new memories, add to the experience, met new friends, and have changed in size as compared to the previous birthday.
Why is day special:
- Meet you, family and friends, in one place
- Allow enjoying tasty birthday cake lol
- Having blessing from your elders
- Opportunity to go shopping and sometimes have dinner with your loved ones at one of your favorite places.
- taking lots of pictures and trying to get your friends jealous by posting on social media.
- it always an opportunity to take permission for a day off at your place of work.
- No one always missed this, dressing in your best outfits with a continuous smile during the day.
With all this in place, I missed out on one important birthday, which is never about the person but about the family. 1st ever birthday, you don't know what is going on, but you grow to see images of what happened on that day.
This month is the birth month of my son, giving him a first birthday is not the plan but getting him a significant gifted. What a child listens, plays with mode him, so I will be getting my 26SBD to purchase learning materials. I will get him an Apple Ipad and other playing materials will follow to get him to adapt to the social life as he matures to be a boy.
