Greetings from Bamenda City to the beautiful people of the Steemit ecosystem. I suppose we are all doing fantastic today.

Early this morning, I was honored to share a conversation with the bright students of Divine Bilingual Multi-Level Learning Center in Bamenda City, Cameroon. I was delighted to share a few words of encouragement on the topic of personal development.

Under personal development, we discussed the importance of being intentional about improving one's life. I used the water and cup exercise to demonstrate the power of intentionality in achieving success. I told them that success doesn't happen by chance. I also reminded them of the fact that millions of people are working hard to achieve the same things as them, and because of this high competition, only those who are intentionally working hard on themselves will reap great benefits.

We also navigated the traps and treasures of keeping good friends. I believe that if you have five friends who are thieves, then you didn't count well because there are six thieves, and you are the sixth.

We also discussed the dangers of drug addiction, time management, and cybercrime. The audience reception was heartwarming, as the students were active and engaged throughout the presentation.

At the end of the discussion, the Principal of the school appreciated my talk with the students and told me to always come by anytime I want to talk to the students, as he stated, "Children who are not talked to are children who won't make the right decisions in life."

As I was about to leave, I met an elderly (probably in her 50s) female pastor and counselor, Pastor Mbah, who also visits this institution to give counseling to the students and advice to the students. She told me that she came specifically to give a talk to the students, but after listening to me talk with them, she decided to cancel her talk with them because almost everything I said was in line with the presentation she had prepared for the students. We chatted briefly about the future of our youth and the responsibility that we (those who are better) have to participate in shaping our future leaders. We exchanged contacts and I went about the day feeling fulfilled.

Let's keep building.
