Getting The Dragon Fly/Pawpaw/Sun ๐ŸŒž

in Steem Cameroon โ€ข 9 days ago

Hello everyone, ๐Ÿค—
This is an unusual thing for mw to do which is posting about insects. Not like I don't like doing so, but because I hardly succeed in trying to capture them lolz ๐Ÿ˜‚

Here is one of the first successful insect ๐Ÿ capture of mine ๐Ÿ˜

Captured with Google Pixel 3a

I'm someone who really loves photography, but I don't really have some of the basic equipments to get me started on the type of photography I want to achieve as of now. So all I use to take pics is just my phone (Google Pixel 3a) which does quite a good job.

The reason why I have always (not necessarily all the time) failed in getting very close insect shots is because when I try to get close to the insect, it flies away ๐Ÿ˜…. I've persistently tried time to time, but I keep failing.

Now I know many of you will be asking "Why not zoom it in"

Well for me, I love stuff with high or maximum graphics. So I find it torturing to zoom in and snap, because it's not really going to give me the quality I want.

I'm beginning to think that the dragon fly deliberately remained there so that I can get my shot and be satisfied with my self lol ๐Ÿ˜‚. When I was moving closer to it, I was already certain it will fly away as usual, but when I got closer, it still stood very firm. So I immediately clicked the capture button, and my shot was saved ๐Ÿ˜

And...

Taking the shot of the dragon fly was not the original plan even. What I wanted to snap was, the pawpaw in my father's garden. Then while in the process of looking for the right position to stand and take the shot, I saw the dragon fly.

About my Dad's Garden

My dad's garden is such a peaceful place I loke to visit when I really want to experience nature. He's garden is very beautiful and filled with multiple fruits. Even though all the photos I took was the photos of the pawpaw trees and one flower ๐ŸŒบ

This the photo of the flower I captured. And to be honest with y'all, I have no idea what type of flower ๐ŸŒธ is that ๐Ÿค”

It is one of the few most strange flowers in the garden that I haven't really learned of it yet. The first thing I will do tomorrow is, I'll use my Google lense feature to look for matches of the search results of the flower, and hopefully on my next post about photography, I'll talk about it.

Now let's get to the fruity part friends

The last time I checked the total pawpaw fruits present on the trees in my home, there were about 200+. Wow!!! Right!!! I was really amazed by the number I had, and one thing about me is I like to explore "what would happen if...", "how much would it be if...". So getting that number, I went along with "how much would it be", and immediately got into my calculator. Let's assume there were lets say 225 pawpaws and each of them cost 300FCFA, how much will it be in total?!

225 * 300 = 67,500

It would be 67,500FCFA which is equivalent to about $107.20 or so. That's some pretty good money right there ๐Ÿ˜‰. But unfortunately for me, it's my father's garden and I can't do anything about it ๐Ÿ˜‚

Here is the rest of the pawpaw trees ๐ŸŒด shots

Now you will hardly see me writing a post about photography, or about nature, and you don't see the sun either "Setting" or "Rising". So here you go ๐Ÿค—

These two photos were captured yesterday which was Christmas day ๐Ÿ™‚. The sun just started setting as I was moving home with a nice drink on my hand ๐Ÿ˜
