THE DIARY GAME: 02/20/2022 My Sunday Activities.

Hello Steem world...

Its another Sunday and this day for me always rotates around going to church and having some jamming sessions with my music band.

Before today, that's on Saturday night, i received a call from one of my close friend who is also an event planner, asking if I will be able to make it for one birthday surprise party on Sunday after church, I said yes and immediately we concluded on everything including time and venue, she immediately paid me.

So early Sunday morning by 4am, i was up from bed and as usual i did my morning routines which include making up my bed which happens to be the largest furniture in my room, doing my morning meditation for about 30 minutes. I later on did some body exercise in the small space in my room for some time and before i could realize, it was already 7am. I check my saxophone to make sure everything is working fine, later on went to the kitchen to make breakfast as i eat and prepare for church service.

The dress i plan on wearing today was giving to me as a valentine gift by a good friend in Douala.
After having my bath, i dressed up in the shirt that was giving to me on the 12 of February, pick up my saxophone and left for church. I left the house by 8:30am and due to traffic, i arrived the church by 9:30am, 30 minutes late. By then, my friends playing the other instruments (drums, keyboard, and bass guitar) had already set up and did sound check.
I took out my saxophone and immediately join them in praise and worship. While we were playing, one of the mixers got burnt disrupting praise and worship. We all had to stop and see we could improvise for the rest on the service.

Luckily we had 2 mixers in church, so we kept aside the one that was bad and manage the other for the rest of the service.

By 1pm we closed from church, which i went to our family house to go greet my parents. When i got home, just my father was around. My mom was not yet back from church with my siblings. I talked with my father as we all made some jokes.
I later went to the kitchen to check out what my mom prepare before going to church. Luckily for me, it was my favorite (ACHU)

Of course i had some to my satisfaction. Later around 3pm, my father left me and went for his sunday meetings as i was also planning to go for the birthday surprise party i was invited to come play a birthday song with my saxophone. When it was about time, i started calling my friend the event planner but she was not picking up. After many attempts, and out of confusion, i decided to go back home as i was not sure again if the birthday is going to hold.

I left our family compound, took a taxi to my place and when i got home, i received a text message from the event planner apologizing for the disappointment, that she didn't know how to tell me. I told her its well but on the other hand, i can't refund to her all the money she gave me, that's if i am to even refund it.

I later ended my day by watching some movies on my TV.
