I am spearheading a fundraiser to end plastic bottle pollution in my community, Bamenda, Cameroon. This initiative is designed not only to create employment and economic opportunities for young individuals by collecting plastic bottles but also to educate them about plastic pollution and recycling. Additionally, we aim to elevate educational standards by repurposing plastics into benches, pavements, and bins for local educational institutions, contributing to the elimination of plastic bottle litter in our community.
