On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, 29 young individuals from primary, secondary, and university levels participated in the World Environment Day Quiz. This event was organized by the Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature, and Sustainable Development (RD-MINEPDED) for the North West, in collaboration with The Greens and the Network of Environmental Stakeholders Cameroon (NEST-Cam).

All participants will receive certificates and participation prizes. The top three participants from each category—primary, secondary, and university—will receive special prizes.

After the quiz, 11 children joined Chris, Silas, Silas' friend, and I for a hike to the famous rock overlooking the city of Bamenda. We enjoyed connecting with nature before heading back to our respective homes. My daughter and son also participated in both the quiz and the hike.

Later in the day, after seeing off the kids, I visited Mile 3 to check on my plastic shredders, which were ready for testing. From Mile 3, I attended an alumni meeting before joining my friends to watch the Champions League finals.

It was a fulfilling day, combining environmental activities with community engagement and nightlife watching football in one of the biggest and most famous bars in Bamenda.
