Mydiary game: Attending our first National steemit meetup

Greetings to the beautiful people of this great community and every other steemian all over the globe. I trust you are all doing great, I'm still your friend @tripple-e don't forget.

Today I woke up with the euphoria of excitement, do you know why?, because today happened to be our long awaited national meetup of all Nigerian steemians. Oh yeah!

I was craving pancakes the previous night, I remember I had a little flour left at home so I decided to make some pancakes and eat. Then I started making the pancakes.

The Process

I picked the flour and sieve it to remove any particles of sand or dirt. So that I can enjoy my pancakes in peace.

After that I proceeded to mix the flour with water, egg, pepper, sugar, salt, onions and butther. To get the desired taste I needed.

Then I placed my frypan on the fire and started frying it by putting a little groundnut oil to the pan

Violaaaaaaaa! My yummy pancakes were ready and I ate it to my satisfaction; I didn't feel like using anything with it, just wanted to savour it sweetness alone.

After eating I rested and in the process I began to work on my phone, then I was just seeing pictures from our Whatsapp group on the cooking preparation for the meetup.
I could see love and unity in action. Oh my God steemit is a family.

Before I realized it, it was already the scheduled time for the meetup. So I started calling few of my friends to know if they are ready so we could leave together.
I dressed up to leave because it was almost 3pm Nigerian time when the meetup was scheduled for 2pm. Africans and time are enemies 🤣🤣🤣.

So I boarded a bus to meet up my friend at her bus stop so we could move together.
We eventually arrived at the venue and most people were still coming in.

So we decided to mingled and also take some pictures before the occasion start

After all the exchange of pleasantries and taking pictures, everyone were called to come and have their seats.

Then the program kicked start by our mama @ngoenyi speaking on the topic "Benefits of steemit". She emphasized that steemit is not just a platform to earn money but it's a platform where you can meet people and established a long lasting relationship that would be of benefit to you in the future.

And then the second speaker which was also our mama @goodybest talked about "engagement on contests". She opined that there's no two ways about it if you don't engage on other people's posts you should not also expect people to engage on yours too.
That steemit is "give and take".

And finally the last speaker in the person of our oga @xkool24 spoke on "strategies for promoting steemit", which he did mention that a lot of people actually do that using their x account in promoting steemit and he did commend everyone who does that and urged us to keep it up.

Then after the lecture session, the floor was opened for people to ask questions and to get answers on things they are not cleared of.
During that session food and drinks were shared

After that MC announced that a young man @bossj23 has gifts for some persons, and a box was brought in with an inscription prank box😀, if though I was part of the beneficiaries but I most commend the young man he did excellently well, I must say that you are really a giver sir, God bless you.

Some of the gifts were

Power banks, sneakers, slippers, bracelets, headset, tissue paper 😀, a wrist watch, portraits as seen in the picture above, and many other things.

Finally the meetup came to a close and we all went out to snapped group pictures

Music! Music! Music!...….

After that we did to thy tent oh Israel , so I got home some minutes pass 7pm.
I undressed and freshen up then hit my bed and started working with my phone.
