So today being the first day of my visit to yaounde I woke up from bed by 7am, didn't have chores to do as I cleaned up the night before so all I did was make my bed then went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. After this I went to the kitchen and made some noodles for my uncle and I and we had breakfast and he left for work.

By 11 I and my neighbour friend went to a nearby Market and bought some foodstuffs to come back and cook, she good ingredients to prepare fufu corn and vegetables, while I bought ingredients to prepare fried cabbage and potatoes. By midday we were alre back home and started cooking, by 2pm we were all done cooking. When I finished cooking I went to the bathroom and had my bath and before I came out my neighbour already served me some fufu corn and vegetables, so immediately I got dressed and munched the fufu it was very delicious, after eating I served her some of the food I had prepared also and she ate her place.

After eating I spent some time studying for my upcoming exams, I did this for about two hours and took a short phone break, when I had settle some my pending Njangis back home I chatted with @thegreens and traded some my SBD and from that I was able to seat easy because my monthly Njangi and weekly Njangi had been sorted out with so much ease. After this I chatted with some friends via WhatsApp and went back to my books .

I studied till about 7:30pm when my uncle came back from work and he had caught a cold so I heated some water and he had his bath, and while he was bathing I went and to the kitchen and warmed the food I had prepared to serve him but before he could finish dressing up, a friend of his, who happens to be his neighbour knocked the door and behold he came bearing gifts a big bowl of food and in it was the legendary Okok, a local food of the center region and the littoral region. He said he had brought it to welcome me in Yaounde. I served the food and we all ate together this was my very first time eating this meal and I loved it.while we ate my uncle remembered he had some palm wine in the fridge which he brought out and shared with his friend. After this sumptuous meal I cleared the table, and we chatted for so long and around almost midnight I left the two friends in the palor and went to bed.
