Microdosing Psilocybin Basics: Adopting A Protocol

I recommend not to microdose everyday. If you’re like most people who try microdosing you might be like “hmm this is nice, I think I want to do this everyday!” but for real if you're going to microdose consistently you’d be wise to adopt a microdosing protocol or a schedule. From what I’ve gathered it’s important to take consecutive days off weekly to avoid building a tolerance. At the very least two consecutive days off a week, but 3 consecutive days off a week seems to be the ticket from what I hear.

I’ve heard of 2 I guess you could say… “advertised” protocols. One is to microdose 4 straight days and then take 3 straight days off. Another interesting one I’ve seen is to microdose one day, then 2 days off, then microdose again one day, then 2 days off again etc rinse and repeat… Either of these two “promoted” protocols would be a fine place to start. But ultimately you could experiment and make your own protocol. Experiment until you find a protocol you like wether it’s one of the “recommended” protocols that I just referred to or your own custom protocol.

From what I’ve heard you can get away with taking only two consecutive days off a week if you’re someone whose active you know sweating or drinking a lot of water everyday, if you have a faster metabolism or whatever. You could microdose Monday through Friday and take the weekends off. But if you’re someone who doesn’t really exercise or detox regularly you should consider taking 3 consecutive days off a week. Maybe microdose Monday through Thursday and then take like a 3 day weekend off every weekend. The reason for adopting a multiple month long consistent protocol in which you take a bare minimum of 2 consecutive days off a week is of course for the best possible short and long term results. That’s it cut it!
