Microdosing Psilocybin Basics: When To Ingest Dose?

In my last video on microdosing I discussed adopting a microdosing protocol (or schedule). Which is very important if you’re getting into microdosing so check out the link below if you haven’t seen that video yet. But a question that has arisen is at what point during the day should you ingest your microdose? Like in the morning/afternoon with/without food? So let’s go over that real quick.

From personal experience and what seems to be the general consensus is that it’s preferable to ingest a microdose before your first meal of the day for a couple of reasons. At least 30 minutes to an hour before your first food intake of the day whenever that may be. By doing this you give your body ample time to absorb the mushroom molecules whereas If you ingest a microdose with food or eat a meal right before or after, it seems that the food absorbs the mushroom molecules versus your body doing the absorption. Experiment for yourself though because I’m referring to what I’ve noticed and what others have expressed. I’m not making any claims based on any scientific studies or anything.

Going further on what I and others have noticed is ok say you’ve ingested your dose, you’ve waited 45 minutes now you’re ready to eat, you’re going to feel the effects of the microdose better if you eat a light meal or snack for breakfast vs eating a huge meal. I mean it makes sense if you stuff yourself you’re going to probably dilute the mushroom molecules to a degree. And of course the mushroom molecules are going to interact better with healthy, higher quality, real foods versus processed, shitty, sugary fake foods but that’s a topic for another video.

Although this advice may seem kind of knit picky ~ I can tell you it makes a big difference, for me at least. try this strategy I laid out and you should feel the benefits that the mushrooms provide all throughout the day, but also experiment with different strategies because you may find you like doing it a different way better, which is all good.
