DEATH FOR FRUITFULNESS
"MOST ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; BUT IF IT DIES, IT PRODUCES MUCH GRAIN."
John 12:24 (NKJV)
Comment: Jesus had to die for more fruitful production. Through the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, more souls are drawn or reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:18-21). For the fruitfulness of a believer a number of things had to be put to death in his or her life. Things they used to value would have to be jettisoned, put away, in order for them to follow God wholeheartedly. Whatever would not allow you in your walk with God, had to die; so that you might be allowed to grow and flourish in your intimacy with God (Colossians 3:5,6; Hebrews 12:1). Peace!
