Goodies From The Flea Market - On Market Friday dd.13.3.2020 by @Dswigle
Today, I´ll take you to the place called Carla in our District. Carla is where people donate things for charity to be sold to the public. They have a couple of branches scattered in the city and it is a place where I donate/bring my goodies I do not use anymore and which I deemed unnecessary in my household. Since we are moving to a smaller flat (thank God the apartment has no stairs.) I have mentioned before that our present house has become too big for us since my step daughter moved out a long time ago already and has her own house now. So I went Carla this week to bring some old household items and at the same time walk around and see what they have.
I love books.... am always interested to see the book area and search for particular art books... there I found a couple of them. I am always keen to decorate, draw or paint and of course read. I guess that´s a talent I got from my dad because I also love DIY Carpentry. I´ve got plenty of cooking and baking books so what I was looking for have been there and bingo! I found two books on Charcoal drawing and Pastel drawing... exactly what I´ve been looking for!
Furthermore, I went to see the ceramics and household items and I discovered a set of serving tray, wine carafe and drinking glasses (am not sure if we can call them glasses since they are made of blue/gray ceramics). I am a fan of these vessels and I collect them... The thing is where to put my other collection since the apartment is quite smaller than the present house, lololol!
They have all sorts of ceramics, glasses and cooking utensils and so cheap that if you´re a housewife, you would be buying more of these items, I guess the men in the house might not undertand our passion for decorating and cooking, right?
