Introduce Your Pet

Hello!

I hope all of you'll are doing well and are safe and healthy. Here I am going to introduce my little pet dog to all of you'll. His name is Pugsley. He has been with us for the past 04 months from end of Jan, 2021 onwards. We decided to name him Puglsey as he is a Pug and Pugsley is also a character from the popular Cartoon Show - The Addam's Family.

We are first time pet owners and were a little skeptical on whether we should go ahead with getting him home. Our main concern was after the lifting of all the restrictions and we would have to go back to our work at offices will we be able to take care of a small puppy then. However, when we saw him for the first time we were completely sure about making him a part of our family. What completely sealed the deal for us was when he crawled into our arms and dozed of while I was holding him. After that first day we have had no doubt that we have made the right decision.

The last four months have been fantastic ever since Pugsley has come into our home. He has a fairly simple mantra to live his life. Eat, Sleep, Run and Repeat!! Its a very good mantra to have in life I guess and our schedule's have completely changed as well.

Pugsley begins his day anywhere between 06:30 - 08:00 AM, as soon as he decides to wake up he wakes us up as well if we're still asleep. As he just hates to be alone, he needs to be always in and around him all the time. After we're up we get his food ready. Initially his diet included baby food for a few weeks, after that he graduated to puppy kibbles and after a few months he now started eating home cooked food. After he's done with his breakfast he his happy to do his own thing. Either he chases his tail or runs around the living room or tries to chew on our clothes and slippers that we keep lying around the house.

After he tires himself out he goes for a nap, which usually lasts for a couple of hours. When he wakes up again he looks to us for his next meal. So his usual lunch time is again between 12:30 - 13:30 PM. Again after his recharge of his energy, he then usually has a singing competition with the dogs we have in our neighbours home next door. The singing is usually is quite a disturbance for everyone around as they all bark their heads off. After this again our little hero is exhausted and goes back to nap again.

In the evening again our champ, wakes up and is full of energy and goes on his inspection of the entire house to see if anything changed since he slept. He loves to run around and play, but needs someone to be around him and loves the attention. He is a very loving pet, he shows this whenever he comes in contact with anyone. He showers them with his kisses (wet licks), jumping up and down like crazy and running around them to snifff them all over.

Pugsley is quite naughty as well, he loves chewing on everything that he can get his teeth on. His favourite chew toys are - our slippers, our furniture, newspaper that he manages to get away from us, our balcony plants etc. He loves to kiss (lick) anyone he meets, he is complete extrovert and gets very excited when he meets anyone. Either when he is on his walks or when someone comes home he makes them feel like he's known them their whole lives.

Another favourite thing of his to do is to sleep, being a pug especially he sleeps for almost 12-14 hours in a day. However, when he's up he is extremely energetic. He loves to sleep on us, either in our laps or sometimes even on our faces too. He loves his TV and often enjoys watching different TV shows that we watch. Apart from this he is our 24/7 source of entertainment and keeps us laughing all day long with his quirks and silliness.

We have been pet parents only for 05 months and we are learning new things all the time. But there never has been a dull moment with Pugsley around. We've been absolutely loving having our little pet around and in our lives.
