How to be more likely to receive support

Many times I have come across user comments saying that their posts are not getting support. And they ask for suggestions on how to publish to get more support from curators.

The problem in most cases is that they do not know the protocols to be applied in the publication to receive such support. Because of this, I am providing you with a collection of basic tips to increase your chances of support.

- Make quality publications

By posting interesting content, you contribute to the community, and have a better chance of receiving support. A short post with content that makes no contribution does not generate interest of any kind.

Make sure that the publication exceeds 200 words and that the content is varied so as not to bore our readers, let our imagination write our post. Remember that Steemit rewards new and creative content.

The title that is placed is also important. We must use a title focused on our topic. Make sure that the title attracts attention, provoking the reading of that publication.

The first image that will be our cover of the publication is also important that it be striking and beautiful

- Use formats for better visibility and presentation of our post.

I mention the most necessary formats

Italic words_Text_ o *Text*
For bold text**Text**
To center, it is like this<center>Text</center>
To justify it is like this<div class="text-justify">Text</div>
For small textText
Center small text<center>texto</center>
To add a list- or * or +
Hyperlink[The name of the Link](The link)
Separator line--- or ***

- Use quality images

The images with little sharpness, without focus makes a post of low quality look. Try to use as much lighting as possible, if it is natural better.

If you use images from the internet, place the respective source. It is recommended to use images or photographs from free author sources, such as:

- Use the tag #steemexclusive

To have the possibility of curator support, our post has to be tagged #steemexclusive otherwise it cannot be supported.

The #steemexclusive tag means that all the content of that publication is only published on Steemit and not on any other platform.

In addition, we must remember that it is important to use the appropriate tags for our publications, since they work as a filter that directs towards the publications related to a certain topic. An additional tip is not to invent tags that do not exist, as they create spam and are almost zero in visibility.

- Vote and Interact in the community

It is vital to support and maintain constant communication with all members of the community. The more support and feedback we provide on posts, the more likely the curator is to see us as interacting with others. We also get greater visibility and votes from a greater number of users because we make ourselves known.

- Delegate SP to the community

It is a requirement. Users who have delegated to a community have greater opportunities for support. Why? Because it contributes to the growth and maintenance of the ecosystem.

- Add as beneficiary the community account of the community

I consider this more important than delegating, since the delegator can withdraw the delegation at any time and the support force of the community diminishes. On the other hand, when users establish the community as a beneficiary, they are contributing to its true growth, since that benefit will go directly to the community account and cannot be withdrawn. By establishing the community as a beneficiary, we are giving a small contribution to the community, which will be of great benefit to all.

When we are creating our publication, in the lower left is the option to configure the Community Account of the community. As it's shown in the following.

By the way, I take the opportunity to contribute with this publication 15% to the Community Account steem.skillshare

What to avoid in our publications

  • Mention the curators, representatives, administrators or moderators.
  • Post inappropriate content that violates the rules of a community.
  • Copy, alter or commit plagiarism.
  • Place images from the Internet without their respective source.
  • Lack of interaction with others and expect continuous support.
  • Use tags that are not related to the post or the community.

Additional Recommendations

  • Be innovative and creative by varying posts, even if it is the same topic.
  • Make a maximum of 2 publications a day. If you do more, I guarantee that not everyone will get the support they hope for.
  • Learn and further expand your knowledge through reading books. Reading expands the imagination. Take online courses to improve writing.
  • Get inspired through each post. Transmit a learning, as I said at the beginning that is a contribution to others.
  • The effort you put into each publication will soon pay off.

So, let's focus on creating valuable content for the Steemit blockchain.

I hope this compilation of tips will help you improve the presentation of your post and get more support from the curators. The key is to improve every day and be constant.

Thanks for those guidelines, I used to get a lot of support from curators until about two months ago, then it suddenly died off and I hardly got any votes. I kept on posting consistently, but nothing changed. I am trying to figure out what is wrong.

Two months ago, the curators supported the selected communities. In the first month there were 5 communities, in the second there were 7, and I think we are going to the 3rd month with 7 communities that are the ones that receive the most support. You have to keep an eye out for updates from @steemitblog and post more in selected communities.
