RE: Steem skillshare comment contest | What is your favourite word in English, and why?

My favourite English word is FAMILY.

The Merrier Webster dictionary defines family as :"a group of people who are related to each other."

But hey, that's just semantics. Family is much more than that. Family is love. And loyalty. And support system.

I know this because while growing up I was a 'truant'. I would leave home. Play soccer for money. Get into street fights. Wander about.
At the end of the day, when I get into deep water, when I get hungry and need somewhere to rest, I would remember that I have people to go to. People who would never turn their back on me. People who would always see me as part of them.

Thats how lovely family is. Always there for you. No matter what.

Thank God for love. Thank God for unconditional loyalty . Thank God for great support system. Thank God for FAMILY.
