Unni / 언니

When you refer to an older girl / sister

Oppa / 오빠

When a girl refers to an older boy / brother. You probably heard a lot in dramas when a girl calls a male who is older. It is the cute way to express to a guy that you treat him with respect and he means something more to you. Korean girls can also calls their boyfriend as oppa.

Nuna / 누나

A guy refers or calls to an older girl / sister

Kajima / 가지마:

This phrase is used in informal korean between people of same age and status or between friends.

Saranhe / 사랑해: I love you

It is a very common way to say " I love you "

Yakseokhe / 약속 해: Promise / promise

Korean people love to give and make promises. It is a culture of expressing any agreement through promices. For example, if you agree to eat together on Sunday. You can say 약속.

Choahe / 좋아해: I like you

That is a common way to express your feelings. Normally, the couples use this phrase when they just start to date.

Pegopha? / 배고파?: Are you hungry?

Hanbokhe / 행복해: I'm happy

Pogoschipho / 보고 싶어: I miss you
