Will this silence end soon?

Today was a great day. A real spring day. But many things were missing.
I went through the parks in Smederevo and realized that there was no laughter of young people and children, music or conversations of older people.

Those were the places where kids and teens had recreational workouts until a few weeks ago. The elderly also exercised, jogged along the Danube or cycled. Playgrounds have been closed since last week. Hardly a few people walked by the river today before curfew. It was a pleasant but unusual silence for me. I only heard the birds and the sound of the river.

These are places that would be filled with people going to work or a bus station, or just sitting on benches and enjoying a nice day. Today I could only see the bystanders in this big square in front of the church and a few people on the streets.

And this is a small park that I really like. You can buy a glass of wine in one of the small wooden houses, sit on a bench and relax, enjoying the music of a blind guitarist, which gives a special charm to this place. And now there was no one, a blind guitar player or people enjoying his music.

They say that everything will change after this virus.
I hope that after all, people's habits will not change drastically, and that we will again walk the squares and parks of the city, do exercises near the Danube or listen to music in the parks.
Now the most important thing is to be disciplined and wait for the summer to come with an even better weather

I wish you all the best <3

Ljubica!
