My Final Send Off ~ #movingtohive
This kinda feels like I'm writing an obituary, or practicing a eulogy.
"STEEM was a good man. He came into this world back in early 2016, and although he had a short life, it was a life well lived. There were no shortages of up's and down's, he made people angry and made people happy. Some people really got to know him, his best friends, the disciples, the witnesses. Others stopped in briefly to see what he was all about, only to say goodbye and never look back. He was gracious, and encouraged others to use their powers to help the little guy. He incentivised communities which blossomed into phenomenal groups. He made a lot of people wealthy. As well as make some lose money. He was a guy you could give your thoughts to, share your travels, your food and drink. He listened, some times more than others. He changed many times in his short life, like a pupa to butterfly or tadpole to frog. These changes were for the good, most would argue. But alas, he has met his maker and his fate is sealed. Into the cave he goes and the stone will be rolled over. He will come back, albeit by a different name. But he will be bigger and better than ever. He has shed his s(k)in and offers the kind of light we wished he had when he was conceived. Embrace the change, it's what he would have wanted."
It's been an interesting 4 years to say the least. I am feeling sadness that this is the way it had to go, but it seems necessary. I hope to see you all over at HIVE.
