RE: Considering To Move Your Business To The Hive Blockchain? Don't. - An Open Letter to @justineh
It's amazing to read a comment from someone who can analyse both sides and draw an opinion based on his own thoughts, who doesn't seek confirmation from someone else. I'm sure you'd be able to defend us, but also criticise us in a civilized manner if that was the case.
One of the reasons why I never go to the Hive Discord to discuss the exclusion list is because they put in a few carefully chosen PR agents that truly believe in the cause, no matter what you say, you will get a barrage and a bombardment of repetitive walls of predefined ideas and texts.
I'm not going there to discuss anything anymore for the same reason, there's no debate nor introspection. They defend blindly their cause as if in fear of leaving the comfort, or maybe, people just want to be accepted, to feel they are part of a group. Everyone that I see trying to bring opposition is immediately defeated with words in order to impact, leaving no alternative but defending themselves instead of focussing on the topic. Another tactic is to just be passive and say "well... you can fork the blockchain then... this is decentralized"
There were amazing discussions on how to make governance more secure and better, also discussions on how to create a more sustainable and fair token distribution. Do I have to say it didn't atract any of the names that would be affected by changes on this?
Steem has its problems, but Hive hasn't fixed some of them either.
