How to View Hive-Project Tokens (HVN) in MyEtherWallet

Hive-Project (https://hive-project.net/) have sent out an email to contributors that distribution of the HVN tokens began and the token would be transferred by 31 August 2017. Due to various reasons this was delayed, but nevertheless it is proceeding.

However, in my MyEtherWallet (MEW) - apologies for the double possessive - it was not added automatically. Here is what's to be done to calm your nerves, because the support team is unlikely to respond to your email with any meaningful answer (I tried pultiple times).

First, you can check the transfer:

1. Go to https://etherscan.io
2. Search by your ether address (upper right corner), the one used for Hive-Project during the ICO or to buy the token
3. Go to the Token Transfers tab
4. You should see your token under the name "Erc20 Token", until the issue is fixed; with the correct quantity.

Now for how to see this token in MEW.

1. Go to MyEtherWallet.com
2. Hit “Send Ether & Tokens” to unlock your wallet.
3. Under the “Token Balances” section, hit “Add custom token”.
4. Enter these details.
   Address: 0xc0eb85285d83217cd7c891702bcbc0fc401e2d9d
   Token symbol: HVN
   Decimals: 8
5. The balance should now show.

Since today HVN is tradeable on HitBTC. To send HVN from MEW, you can use the Send Tokens function that has a dropdown box that will allow you to select HVN tokens. Note that if you want to send tokens, you will also need a small amount of ETH in the account to cover gas costs.
