Magical wonderland, or waste of taxpayers money?
Obviously, everything is possible. I can only say this after visiting "Cudolandia" - a magical place located in Koper, Slovenia, where last Friday the "Christmas" lights were light up.
Yes, you read that correctly. Even though it was only the 9th of November, they lit up the city called Koper.
When we arrived there, it was still bright so we could see the boats, and beautiful sunset lights.
And even though I could describe the experience to you, I'll rather show you what they prepared for visitors.
Was this event a success, or a failure, I'll let you decide. I just know it's beautiful to see, but it still makes me wonder - for what cost, and with which purpose - just to make someone happy, so he/she can boust around what they prepared... Elections for majors are about to happen soon, and I think this major decided to spend some taxpayers money with the wrong purpose. But that's my humble oppinion, and I don't blame anyone for thinking differently.
Still, I hope you liked my photos made with my smartphone Elephone.
Ow wow. Thank you for sharing those photos... Real masterpieces... I bet there was so many more to see.
But despite the beauty, also think it is a bit too soon for such decoration. Everything is happening too fast. When the summer was gone, there were quickly talking about the Halloween, and after it is over, they just can't wait for a while... No... Christmas is here. .. Wtf...
And I even don't want to think about electricity consumption.
