A Tribute to my brother

in #homestead7 years ago

My brother Perry would have been 74 today, he passed away last Spring due to complications with his health. There isn't a day go by that I don't think about him, I mean HEY he was my big brother. I can't explain what it's like growing up when your siblings are 8 and 10 years older than you are - it's like growing up in two different families.

OHHHH he was so handsome in his Navy White's (or blues for that matter) ... PerryNavy.jpg
but then once Tom Sellick became famous I always thought Perry looked like him. perryWOW.jpg

Oh I can remember when he was home on leave once, I used his razor (first time shaving my legs) what did I know about #1 cleaning off the razor #2 realizing that once I used it on my legs the blade wasn't as sharp and he would nick himself the next morning - NEEDLESS to say, he wasn't to happy with me OR the time I tried playing his electric guitar - nope that didn't go over that well either.

Oh the stories I could tell but I'll let that go for another time - just wanted to say ... P.H. (Perry Harold) I MISS YOU. It's tomato time in my garden, who is going to come eat them right off the vine now that you're not here ?

I'm going to make this short - mainly because it's difficult seeing out of eyes with tears in them (have ya ever wondered why our eyes don't come with wipers ??? )

LOVE YOU - MISS YOU EVERY DAY
your YOUNGER sister .... Sherrie Anne (and NO folks - you CAN'T start calling me that - only a certain few (my parents when they were mad at me, my brother, my sister (oh heck she still does), my Aunt Annette and my Aunt Florence (yes I'm still Sherrie Anne to my Aunt Florence )
