Homesteaders Co-op: A Gorgeous NEW Marketplace!
Come check out our store at the Homesteaders Co-op.
We are thrilled to announce our affiliation with a new marketplace, powered by homesteaders.
If you read our website regularly, you might have noticed a few changes! We've added a new shop feature! Clicking on the shop button will take you to the Homesteaders Co-op. This is a gorgeous marketplace, and I hope you'll check it out.
You can be part of this cooperative too. The Homesteader's Co-op is a community marketplace where homesteader's around the world can sell their wares. Come as a vendor, a customer or both, and stay as a community member. I think you'll love it.
There is no other marketplace like it.
If you are looking to support real people, and buy products that are made thoughtfully, this marketplace makes that possible. If you want your dollars to have a positive impact on the world, this is a great place to shop.
Vendors are carefully selected.
Homesteader's, small family businesses, and eco-minded craftsmen make up the vendors in this marketplace.
You'll Find unique items!
You'll find a wide range of handmade, organic & natural items. If you want to buy a special one of a kind gift, this is a great place to shop.
You are supporting People, not corporations!
When you purchase goods from the co-op, you are helping to make the world a better place. With every purchase, there's a family, an eco-village or homesteader who's able to continue doing what they believe in.
Bartering Accepted!
This marketplace facilitates the age-old tradition of bartering which we LOVE! You'll find some vendors that are open to bartering and trading their goods, including Walkerland.
Community Focused.
Most vendor markets have membership fees or take a percentage of every sale. They set up barriers making it hard for small vendors to thrive. The homesteaders Co-op embraces old fashioned values center around supporting and empowering their vendors and customers. Vendors keep 100% of the proceeds from their sales.
Walkerland will be adding new items and growing our inventory! We are excited to be part of this cooperative. We hope you'll take a moment to visit our shop along with all of the other beautiful shops available. The Homesteaders Co-op is the modern day Little House on the Prairie Mercantile. There's a community, and everyone cares.

Ahh! This is wonderful Charlotte! Congratulations on getting your shop up and running at Homesteader's Co-op! It looks so beautiful!! I wish you oodles and oodles of abundant fulfilling business ❤🌞🌷
Thanks for the encouragement @yogajill! You are so thoughtful.
This is just absolutely gorgeous. That print is great -- what an amazing photo!
Thank you, that sunflower was special. I am so glad I got to capture it.
I'm eating sunflower seeds from my sunflowers now! I love them. I was thinking of Mulder in the XFiles leaving trails of them everywhere. This sunflower in flight does look alien too - alive. They kinda do, because they're so BIG and humanoid if you see them in the periphery of your vision. Or maybe like a wierd floral monster...
Oh I was wonderful why I saw some traffic coming from walkerland.ca - this explains it! I am honored that you would run your store on Homesteaders Co-op. The new products look amazing. I am so glad that you are offering your photography prints for sale as well, you are such a talented photographer. This sunflower is so striking! It's nice to see an assortment of products that are representative of your interest and passions. I hope this season is rewarding, joyfilled and successful for the Walkerland homestead :)
I shared it on my facebook page lat last night. The intent of these posts being to teach my mainstream-ish audience about the co-op first, and then steem, steemit, and so on. I'll plant some seeds on pinterest when I get a chance so we can watch and see if anything comes of it.
Thanks for the kind words. I am taking it slow with adding items but eventually, our store should present itself as a fairly cohesive brand ... I think.
Thank you for sharing our co-op with your audience! I'd love to hear any feedback, or questions you get about HSCO/steem :) If you need any free invites to steem to share with your audience I am happy to share. I'm looking forward to see how the store rounds out.
