Embracing A Steemian/Homesteader Curation Begins

Every Sunday for the last nine weeks I have been announcing a new steemian to embrace. But this week I am changing it up some. Instead of adding a new steeiman (homesteader) to the list, I have decided to start curating the ones I have already chosen.

Sure, they had their week that I visited their page, UPvoted their posts and resteemed for others to see from my page... but who can recall all nine of my previous nominations and selections.

So to curate these WONDERFUL steemians and homesteaders, every week I will be writing a post in place of my Embracing A Steemian for the next few weeks. Once I have curated ALL the members, I will go back to adding and announcing more steemians.

Can I get curation rewards for upvoting comments?
Yes. You can earn curation rewards from upvoting both posts and comments

Each week for the next three weeks I will focus on three previous steemians listed above and curate their posts for the week. I want to make sure ALL incoming homesteading and gardening steemians have a chance to meet these great people that I have highlighted in the past.

@hethur240

She has been utilizing the #steembay network on the platform and her items re top notch, and I know that for a fact as I recently purchased one of her items.
Her most recent auction item, Steembay Auction - Amethyst and Aventurine Silver Plated Wire Wrapped Handmade Bracelet is beautiful!!! HAVE A LOOK!

She also does her weekly Gardening & Homesteading Journal. I am a huge proponent of journals, notebooks and keeping track of things for future reference, so I LOVE these weekly updates. She has quite a talent for drawing chickens and sheep too!

@fernowl13

See her most recent post about you might make a lousy homesteader or survivalist if…; which is a humorous look at who shouldn't be a homesteader. Go ahead and read, maybe you can add your own thoughts.

She also started a curation page called @sotall where she shares some great quality posts of homesteaders, preppers and other like-minded people. The most recent post 31st Edition Sotall Directory of Homesteading, Survival, Foraging How to Posts. Each directory post has about four (or more) fellow steemians that she shares. Plus [the sotall website] (https://sotall.org/) is constantly being updated by @fernowl13 and there is a seed sharing/buying page.

@freedompoint

You don't ever, and I mean EVER, want to miss one of @freedompoint's Yeti videos! This is an excellent post to see daily, as his wife @freedomtowrite (AKA Stacie D) has challenged him to post a video a day on Dtube. And he's taking the challenge seriously!

His most recent Yeti post one Yeti's Perspective #49: building culture is one you'll want to watch... and comment to.

And in his recent post about livin' the dream, he shares his day and what livin' the dream is to him and his wife on the homestead!

Come back tomorrow when I start curating some preppers here on steemit!

Great idea. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I've been turning some attention to curation and the members that I've mentioned and shared in the past. SO every week I will have some great posts to share.

I love reading the post from all three of the steemians you have featured this week! And all those on your list! I just discovered that although I was following everyone listed here using ginabot I had not actually clicked follow for everyone. So happy to have fixed that!

AWESOME!!! Glad this post was able to get that task done!

And yes, there are some great quality members and I like to share them with others.

I am not a homesteader, but love and respect the idea of it. I was raised in the country and loved the freedom it gave me as a child. That is possibly why I am so attracted to the idea of homesteading.
What you are doing here is a great service to others of the homesteading community and I am sure they are very thankful for it.

Thank you! Yes,I have been continuing to support the community since my first post on steemit; and when I found the community.

Great as always and with great choices. There are actually a few on here I haven't seen yet. Thanks for bringing them out to my attention.

You're welcome! I'll be featuring and curating the net three this coming Sunday. So glad you found some new members.

Thank you @goldendawne! I appreciate your kindness. I challenged you for something fun

Thanks!! I will check out the link- what have you got in store for me today!

@fernowl13 and @freedompoint are two good homesteaders that I have read through HSO. Congrats guys, I am sure you guys will get more exposure from here onwards. :)

Rydhi

Yes they are- as is @hethur240! She has been a mainstay in the community for as long as I have been!

I found one blogger I may have seen before but gave a second look after reading this post. Thanks for curating this stuff!

You're welcome and I'm thrilled to have given you a new member to follow.

Thank you so much for all your support! I feel so loved! Haha!
