It turns out that oyster mushroom cultivation is not as difficult as imagined. When the mycelium is sufficient, enough water, moisture and sunlight are sufficient, the mushrooms will flourish.

And I became a bit unbelievable if it was said "this mushroom baglog must be in a quiet place, it should not be noisy, it should not be visited much, etc. So how not to look, while baglog must be watered 3-5 times a day. much passed, even where children play, so it's certainly noisy :).

For me the difficult one is CONSISTENT! consistently providing enough water 3-5x. For almost 2-3 weeks baglog looks dry because it is only doused 1-2x, when the weather is very very hot. I thought they would not grow again. But in fact ?? This is the mushroom that comes out of baglog 5, and the photo was taken 15 minutes ago. So less than 5x a day turned out to be able to grow, just a little longer.

Cultivation Method

For friends who want to make it please note this way;

  1. Material
    Beetle corn, yeast tape, bran, urea
  2. Tools
    Burlap sacks for bases, plastic sheeting for covers, boards for odd borders so they can be stacked evenly
  3. How
    Janggel corn is stacked about 15cm before it is given a sack base after which the yeast is mashed mixed with bran / katul and urea stir until blended after that sprinkle on the janggel pile before flattening on top of it, stacked janggel about 15 cm above and mixed with yeast bran and urea, after finish flushing with clean water until wet and cover with plastic sheeting to make it moist
  4. The condition grows
    Mushrooms need moist air with high temperature for growth so try to keep the location exposed to the heat of the sun but protected from rain water, every afternoon the media is still watered until wet and can be mixed with urea so that the fermentation process takes place quickly and try to make the media not above the cement / ceramic floor
  5. Harvest
    Harvesting can be done approximately after 14 days, with the characteristics of mushrooms already present like a helmet / before blooming every 5 pm
  6. For those who want to try, please pray for success, if there is something less clear, please ask, thank you
  7. Addition
    For medium size 5x1m, like mine, the amount of bran is 5kg yeast 7 urea 1kg
  8. Harvest time can be up to 1 month depending on treatment.

Thanks for teaching us on how to easily cultivate mushrooms on our individual farms, indeed this post would be of great value to farms worldwide.
