Life through the window

Today is a beautiful hazy, sunny day, that belies the bitterness of the wind. Despite the cold it is a much appreciated break from the wet and windy weather of late and the cold wind will help to dry out the sodden ground.

It should be a day of 'getting on' but I seem to have little energy for anything but the essential home and livestock chores.

I have spent much of the day watching 'life' go on through the window. We are so fortunate to have stunning views that help to stop us having that 'shut in feeling' when we are unable to venture far from the front door.

Today has been a day of sheep and bird watching.
