Our First Egg!!

Wow!! Our hens are finally starting to lay eggs! Here is the very first one!

I am so excited!! We have 19 hens, meaning we could receive up to a dozen and a half each day! The farmer definitely wants some homemade ice cream, he’s given plenty of hints about that!

I’m actually pretty excited to learn the process of preserving eggs!! I can’t wait to have an abundance!

This city girl definitely has a country heart!!
