The Great [Volunteer] Pumpkin

Last fall a pumpkin was setting on top of the propane and it fell. Instead of it being cleaned up - it was left.

The seeds from that pumpkin has turned into this great big volunteer pumpkin.

This pumpkin has even taken over the asparagus.

I’ve taken many photos to show how large this pumpkin plant is and the many stages of growth!

I even caught some bees pollinating.

Look what is even hiding below...

It’s already the size of a basketball!

I cannot wait to harvest this plant in the fall! Hopefully there will be at least 4 pumpkins - one for each of the kids - plus a few extra for all the holiday goodies!
