Great Chicken Breed: Easter Egger
Easter Egger is any chicken that possesses the "blue egg" gene, but does not fully meet any breed standard defined by the American Poultry Association's (APA) standards, or in the case of Easter Egger bantams, the American Bantam Association's (ABA) standards. The name comes from their colorful eggs that look like Easter eggs. The Araucana, Ameraucana, and Easter Egger are descended from the same chicken breed stock that spread around the world from Chile and the Falklands in South America. The pigment oocyanin, deposited on the surface of the shell, is the reason for the blue-green color.
They usually have muffs and pea combs, but come in nearly every color and variety, some even have ear tufts or are rumpless. Each Easter Egger chicken is different, but overall they are usually a smaller bird that lays pink, green, or blue eggs. They are normally friendly and calm, and their colorful eggs make them a popular choice in backyard flocks. Easter Eggers are hardy and excellent layers. Since they are usually quite friendly to children and humans in general, they are a great choice for a family flock.

The tastiest are sure to be chickens that are allowed to roam so they can eat plenty of worms and insects, IMHO.

WoW no doubt it is a unique chicken breed because it lay colorful eggs, i watch the video and these chickens also looks so healthy to me and i hope their eggs are also so tasty, i think these chickens are perfect if we use them for egg laying purposes, thanks for introducing us to this breed friend, Stay blessed
