People are way too insulated from where their food comes from. We close our eyes to how food is produced and what has to happen to get it. I gave up eating meat because I realised I wasn't prepared to kill something to eat it (I am not saying if my life depended on it I wouldn't but in a general way my life doesn't, so I am not going to buy bacon if I wouldn't have the balls to kill a pig). I respect people like you who have decided to 'go back' to raising, killing, preparing and eating their own food.
