You made a great point here, if you have the knowledge, which ain't rocket science, you could successfully run a small scale poultry with that space behind your home that keeps getting overgrown with weeds.
Even small scale farming could help make sure you get the freshest vegetables in town. But everyone is so busy with the white collar job that such things as there are neglected and relegated to the background on the grand scheme of things.
White collar jobs suck nowadays... The right time we understand turning idle resources into working for us, the alleviated poverty will be.
I agree with you, with the scarcity of it, we should be looking for alternative source of employment. Agriculture is the most viable and homesteading do help reduce the cost of running a home. Thank you.
