Camp Cabin Progress
Today, I spent a few hours out at the camp cabin. Saturday, the last time I was out there, I left my keys! So I had a great excuse to go work! Got a late start, because I had some things to do here at home. But I got on all the tar paper, except that which I need taller help for! Such a short!
It was just a pristine day, 68 degrees, light winds, and blue blue skies! The leaves are just starting to be touched with color here. The forest is quiet, now that the locusts, and katydids are done for the year!
Saturday, my son was looking for wood to cut, and found a copperhead down in the bottom of a hollow log. That wasn't far from my mind, as I was tromping around. We actually cut up a hollow tree Saturday, and I am planning on using sections of it for planters next year.
The following pictures show the progress I am making! I am ecstatic to be getting closer to completion! Sadly for the cabin build, I have some rain coming, and family responsibilities on the weekend, so I likely won't be able to make it out there again for several days.

This is a warning as to what can happen when a spark gets away from you! We put out that fire!

Well that's all for now! Hope everyone had a peaceful day! God bless!
Looks like you are moving right along. Love the metal roof. I was wondering how much land does your cabin sit on. Keep up the good work!
We have 30 acres out there. Still more to go, but I am getting there! Thanks for reading, and commenting!
