RE: Benefits of raising quails for meat and eggs

in #homesteading7 years ago

Oh Wow ! I learned so much more about Quails and their eggs then I ever thought possible ! We have had chickens for a long time at my boyfriends property we shared in the country , and I will be keeping them still once my new little house gets built next summer ! Love farm fresh eggs from free range chickens ! tastes so much better and more nutritious then store bought !! But I would love to also some Quails and their eggs now !! Haha ! Im wondering if they eat the same as chickens do !? And if they would all get along , meaning in separate coops but when they free range !? Or will quails fly away , haha I sure don't to be finding eggs all over the place either like you say ! Great post , I was waiting to log on as @momskitchen to share it in my food blog , thanks for sharing all the info. !!💙💙💙👍👍👍🐣🐣🐣

excellent reply and wish you all the best but do not allow your quails free range as they can fly well an may fly and find a love quail at a far neighbors farm... thanks once more for the comment worthy of my upvote
