Homesteading Keeping Pet Birds at Home

When you are more into silent and decor type of the birds. Then finch are perfect. Do note that they have very small voice. And usually are very quiet. And they don't tend to attack you. But they can be good for the home. So those places where you want to decorate with the simple yet less noisy birds, then finch is what you should consider for the home. Finch seems to be a good choice for many those who don't want to work much on the pet birds. You can train these birds to some extent and even get them out of cage. But due to size being small and other issues, I think they are only good enough in backyard.

2. Budgies (Love Birds)

This is often the first choice for many to have this bird at home. The reason being cocktaila and budgies being noisy and can be trained. Also they can make a good companion at home. So you can understand that some of the time this type of the birds are good bet in many ways. I have kept around 4 birds so far. And they were easy to maintain. Except we had a lot of hawk attacks and unfortunately some of the birds died in that. But keeping your cage in a secure way, you can easily manage the pet birds. You can learn budgie favorite food. And they add up fun to your lifestyle for sure. So I'd definitely recommend keeping them.

3. Cocktail

Another pet bird that I prefer but they are not easy to keep at home. And you need to train them properly and even clip their wings. So as they don't run away in odd places. So you can definitely benefit from the cocktail if you decide to keep them at home. They also learn to talk and sing if they find place good enough. And they are also good time pass for kids. So if you want fun bird then this is what you should be keeping at home.
