great points. My choice is a a Lucus mill great portable circular not cheep though but fantastic for denominational would any with up to about 16 inches.

Band saw are great for slabbing for wider widths Love the video hope to see more.

Head rigs, Bell saw, are fantastic for low cost as you say

They are. Light portable but really pricey. Head rigs are great too. As you said in the video, a bit harder to get used to cutting, turning the log etc. head rigs are easier to maintain by a long shot.
