RE: Help Me Identify a Very Important Weed!

Elephantopus tomentosus (Woolly Elephant's Foot aka Common Elephant's Foot). Apparently it may have some medicinal uses but should be researched more in depth! I have a ton blooming now as well but my goats show no interest in it

Sort:

@wholesomeroots You may be correct, however, my guess is Elephantopus elatus (Tall Elephant's Foot). I have not very much gardening in that USDA Zone. It could even be a natural cross.

I have been working outside all day yesterday and today, and was excited to see an answer! Gonna get cleaned up and do some research. I have another plant also, if you're interested in another identification post Lol. I dont have wifi so its very hard to look this stuff up online (arghhh)

I would be glad to try and identify another! I love a challenge

Coming up in the next day or two :0)
