4 Tips to become a Preschool Teacher

in #honeyletsgo7 years ago (edited)

Many people do believed that the mother of all profession is what we called Teacher and Education is the ultimate key to success. If you want to become one, then you're welcome to follow my tips.

Tip no. 1 " Have Patience"

Being a teacher is not that easy. Human as we are we have limited patience towards others. The challenge here is to develop a long lasting patience for the kids. We may feel lots of emotions but the ultimate key is to control everything. Control the words you say, acts you do and emotions you feel.

Tip no. 2 " Be Cheerful"

Your aura reflects yours kids. If your gloomy, then there is a big tendency that your kids will also be gloomy and if your cheerful, your kids will also be cheerful. Catching the interest of kids is your top priority. Kids are curious and want to discover lots of things. So as a teacher, no matter what circumstances and trials you've experienced, be positive always.

Tip no. 3 " Show Love"

Kids vary in so many ways that only a teacher could differentiate and understand. Showing love is one way of understanding a child. If you don't show love then, you can't understand them. Kids are easy to love, so why don't we love them. Kids like attention and by showing love and care then they start to trust the teacher.

Tip no. 4 " Treat them as your sons and daughters"

Teachers are the second mothers and fathers in school. When kids poop and pee the teacher is the one in-charge and responsible. Preschool teachers need strong appetite and energetic body in order to survive. There are some kids who are very energetic that climb at your back everyday. Kids will really drain your energy. Some of the kids look messy and dirty. Teacher needs to take good care of their physical appearance not only physical but also in mental, spiritual and emotional aspects of life. Kids need to equip those factors.

Being a SPED major teacher and handling Preschool kids during my first year of teaching was a very tough challenge. Making adjustments for the first time was quite fascinating. As time passed by, I learned to deal with it and adapt the environment. There is always the process of learning and adding of new learning. I just loved these kids so much.

I hope and pray that this post will help you!
