Litecoin hits fresh 2022 high versus Bitcoin

On June 8th 2019 Litecoin (LTC) saw a fresh high of $141.81. This was the highest price since February 2021 and the first time that LTC has seen over $140 in over 2 years.

Bitcoin (BTC) had been trading at around $6,500 for most of 2019 and it slowly began to increase in price after the halving on May 16th 2019. The halving triggered a lot of buying pressure in Bitcoin which caused prices to increase quickly.

In contrast, Litecoin has been more stable and has not seen much interest from investors like Bitcoin has over the past few months.
