The Real Story Behind Crypto Conspiracy Theories

in #hopdh2 years ago

Think traders who buy and sell cryptocurrencies at a moment's notice are just playing the markets? Well, it may seem that way. But they're not.

They're actually doing their job as brokers and market makers. They're providing liquidity to the market by taking orders from investors who want to buy or sell. They put up the cash or credit needed for someone else to do this work and then get paid when they do it.

The reason they can afford to be so aggressive is because there's not much competition in this space most of the other players are in the same position as them, with the exception of a few arbitrageurs who trade on exchanges or high-frequency trading firms that use bots rather than human traders.
