HOQU 🍂Autumn Digest

in #hoqu6 years ago

Dear HOQU community members.

December is nigh, so it’s time to present you the results of our work carried out throughout this autumn.🍁

Work carried out on the development of partnerships

Work on the platform is in full swing, as we consider it important to pay attention to the development of a network of contacts and business connections, which will allow us to launch the main marketing program of the platform in the global market faster and easier after the release of the platform planned for the 1st quarter of 2019.

On October 3–5, the HOQU team attended a PR marketing conference, LeadsCon Boston 2018 in Boston, USA. HOQU was represented at the conference by Alexey Shmonov (CEO and Co-founder), Maxim Anikeev (CMO and Co-founder), Alexander Duzhnikov (COO and Co-founder) and Andrey Duzhnikov (CTO).

During the conference, our founders established contacts with a large number of representatives of companies working in the field of affiliate marketing. There was significant and sustained interest in our project from both future consumers and partners in terms of promotion. We should also mention the participation of our team in the Callers meetup for participants in the pay-per-call market, which gave them a unique opportunity to communicate in an informal atmosphere with the leadership of America’s largest companies operating in our field.

The next meetings with potential partners will be held at the AFFILIATE WORLD ASIA 2018, December 5–6, Bangkok, and Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas, in January, from 6 to 8 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.

New Listing

Since November, our tokens have been trading on another exchange — BTC-Alpha. The token is trading in two pairs:
✅ HQX/BTC: Min order — 0.00001 HQX; Min order size — 0.00001 BTC; Trading fee — 0.2%.
✅ HQX/ETH: Min order — 0.00001 HQX; Min order size — 0.00001 ETH; Trading fee — 0.2%

The general list of exchanges where the token is traded:

  • HOTBIT: HQX/BTC
  • BTC-Alpha: HQX/BTC and HQX/ETH
  • BitForex: HQX/ ETH and HQX / USDT
  • COBINHOOD: HQX/ETH
  • IDEX: HQX/ETH

Now the HOQU team is focused on development. However, we continue to communicate with exchanges on an ongoing basis. We will keep you informed and announce any listings on new exchanges.

Development progress

At the time of this writing, development is not behind schedule and is moving in line with the terms stated in the roadmap . The development of the platform involved 6 people.

Application Development

Let’s start with the main things that were planned for autumn, namely the release of the beta version of the merchant application. The release of the application took place in early October.

Key features of the application for merchant:

  1. Wallets

This section allows users to see a list of ETH wallets tied to the account. Here you can see the names of the wallets, their addresses, as well as the balance in ETH and in HOQU Tokens.

  1. Leads

This section contains important information and indicators about merchant’s leads: status, date of its creation, and — of course — cost of each of them.

  1. Reports

The section of reports is one of the most important working tools. Here the user can get detailed statistics in several categories:

  • Daily. Report on leads with grouping by day. The report form is still being finalized.
  • Networks. Shows the number of clicks, the number of leads, the number of approved leads, total cost of approved leads and conversion on all networks of which the user is a member.
  • Offers. Shows the number of clicks, the number of leads, he number of approved leads, total cost of approved leads and conversion by merchant offers.
  • Wallets. Shows a report for all user’s wallets.
  1. Postbacks

Postbacks, as well as API, allow users to automate the receipt of leads, lead data, or data on changes in leads in the advertiser’s CRM system. The postback url is a link used to report CPA networks on target actions performed on the offer site. After setting the postbacks, the webmaster has the opportunity to receive more in-depth analysis of statistics on conversions.

  1. Offers

This section contains key information about all active and unconfirmed merchant’s offers.
When the affiliate network creates an offer for the merchant, it is displayed as an unconfirmed offer. After the merchantconfirms / activates the offer, it will be available to affiliates (webmasters) to work with him.

You can test the beta version of the merchant application here. The beta version of the affiliate application, the release of which took place in August, is also available at this link.

At the time of writing this article, 1332 people had registered in the affiliate application, and 132 in the merchant application. We invite you to register and actively test the functionality of the app. We will gladly accept all your comments and suggestions on the functionality in our official chat.

Measures to optimize development

Work on the beta versions of the applications continued after their releases. It is important to note that the applications have become modular, as a considerable amount of code written during the development can be used for several applications at once. We reuse not only the interface and parts of logic, but also entire pages of applications. This greatly speeds up development.

The method we use to speed development is described in detail in this article:

At the moment, active work is underway to create an application for networks, while work continues on a beta version of the merchant application. Our goal for December is to show the full cycle of the platform’s operation using the example of the application created for affiliate networks with the release of the beta version for affiliate networks.

Work with data in blockchain, API

A new version of the API was developed to speed up work with data stored in the blockchain.
A not high enough speed of processing a transaction in the blockchain (about a minute or more) has a direct impact on the speed of the user application using the blockchain. HOQU aims to create a responsive application. So, we need a special approach to working with data.

To do this, the platform uses an intermediate service between the blockchain and all applications. This service can process all requests to the blockchain, store data in the hot storage (fast and reliable database), and ensure the security of access to the methods of the smart contract.

The detailed mechanism of this service is described by the HOQU developers here:
https://blog.hoqu.io/handling-decentralized-data-in-a-fast-way-fcfb702e8d52

Smart contracts

The smart contract is an important part of the core of the HOQU platform. In the fall, the smart contracts of the platform were improved. Details on the smart contracts platform — in this article:
https://blog.hoqu.io/the-hoqu-project-october-digest-87acb6cc625c

HOQU smart contract code is available on GitHub: https://github.com/hoqu-io/platform

The platform is still under development and is based on the Rinkeby blockchain test network. In testnet mode, the implementation of transactions is for free. After the release of the working version of the application, it will be switched to work with the main Ethereum network.

The code of the contract in the Rinkeby testnet can be found at this link: https://rinkeby.etherscan.io/address/0xfc33d77ed4ac8ea48fb347c7ce537a0a6c4fb1b5#code

Tracking services for different lead types

Tracking of various indicators of an advertising campaign, such as time, source, number of targeted actions, etc. is carried out by the HOQU tracker.

At the same time, the tracker can track all the actions of a potential client on the target site and record transitions, clicks and other events. Data on actions that are target leads are sent by the tracker to the blockchain. The tracker generates links to track the source of the transition to the target site.

One of the parts of the tracker that directly interacts with the user who has come by reference (for example, through a virtual assistant, feedback form) is the widget. A widget is an auxiliary application that has its code placed on the advertiser’s site. It tracks user actions and transfers them to the tracker.

At the time of writing this Digest, much of the work on developing parts of the tracker has already been done. The tracker continues to be improved.

More details about how the tracker works can be found in the article below:

🍁 In general, our team is working in a coordinated and smooth manner on the implementation of the goals previously set in the Roadmap and the development of the project. We thank you for your support.
Respectfully,
The HOQU Team
