Good news. I was hoping this would come to pass. They're very destructive as well as being somewhere between a nuisance and a threat to humans.

Fortunately they have some behavioral vulnerabilities that allow people to destroy them relatively easily.

They can be tagged and followed back to their nest.

They can be caught in sticky traps because they attempt to come to each other's rescues if one of them gets stuck.
